History
Established in 1989.
Pacific Benefit Planners is a locally owned and operated business. We began as a dream in the back room of our home in 1988 based on our belief that small businesses should receive the same level of insurance professionalism and representation that large businesses received. We established our first office in Eugene in 1990. We opened the Portland office in 1994.
We grow with our clients and the changing legislative and business environment. Through frequent client contact, intensive education and research, and participation in business organizations and community activities, we anticipate and identify changes, needs, and trends that relate to our clients. We add new product lines, licensed staff, technology capability, and streamline systems to meet the product and service needs of our clients.

Meet the Business Owner
Darby G.
Business Owner
Darby is an owner and COO of Pacific Benefit Planners. She developed the systems, procedures and documents that form the agency’s structure of sales, client files, communication and client service. She works with employees to maintain a program of continuous improvement focused on efficiency and client satisfaction. Darby facilitates strategic planning and analysis for agency growth. She maintains a program of active research to stay current with legislative, product and business changes and trends.
Darby brings 30 years as a consultant in leadership and employee training, team building, strategic planning and business development to help clients with organization and business issues. She has extensive experience facilitating groups involved in problem solving and decision making processes. She assists businesses and organizations with the processes of determining important issues, identifying future trends, creating action plans, managing immediate and long-term business practices.
