History

Established in 2009.

When we opened up in Febuary of 2009, we were not really sure about anything, except for the fact that we were going to be making the best waffles most people have ever had. However, with the help of many of our neighbors in the Whiteaker and various other hoods in Eugene, this place has slowly been taking on some serious character. Local artists have been displaying their art here, which adds a whole new element to the place. Local musicians have been dropping by their work, which we occasionally play on our system in a sporadic fashion. Many have caught on to the idea that we like to barter, whether its your grandma’s homemade blueberry jam or a bottle of wine, or even a service you provide. The more we all barter, the less we all have to deal with money, which we all know is the source of many of our problems. Slowly but surely, this place is transforming into what Eugene will intend it to be, which is a fun, community-oriented business that also has some dankalicious specialty food
