Our commitment to continued education and investment in the latest procedures and technology allow us to use minimally invasive techniques to deliver high quality, comfortable, long-​lasting dental treatment. You will find all of the general and cosmetic dental services you need at Serenity Dental as well as advanced laser, implant and gum surgery procedures. Dr. Leah Hickson also performs select TMJ, Endodontic, Periodontal and Oral Surgery procedures. Referrals will be made to area specialists for complex dental needs. Comprehensive care means considering the health of the whole mouth as treatment is planned, rather than treating individual teeth when they are a problem. With comprehensive care, the end goal is optimum oral health. Treatment is almost always less expensive and extensive when teeth are restored before they become a problem. Dr. Hickson studied at the University of Oregon before graduating from Creighton University School of Dentistry in 2007. Since then she has received advanced training in CAD/​CAM restorations, Certified by the Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry, Dr. Hickson is one of only a few dentists in Lane County who perform LANAP: Laser periodontal treatment. She has studied and performed Implant placement with and without 3-​D CT surgical guides, including All-​on-​4 immediate implant prosthetics. As a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, she offers treatment solutions for Sleep Disordered Breathing, using Airway Metrics to titrate devices for measurable results. Dr. Hickson now offers Invisalign. She is also one of fewer than 600 dentists world wide who have been trained to provide PST or Gingival Rejuvination.
