JLF Photography specializes in family, portrait and event photography.

My approach is to capture a person, people, animals, or events at their essence and blend my style so that it enhances my subject (s). I seek to balance my photography with this in mind, while also embracing my artistic eye and expressing it subtly so as not to overpower the work. The end result, I hope, is a series of images that showcase my clients in ways that stir in them the same passion that drives me to photograph them.

JLF Photography was born out of my love for photography and the desire to be self employed and operate my own business.

I am a Eugene, Oregon based photographer. Having just moved to the area, I’m excited to be able to photograph Eugene and Springfield families and bring my small business to town.

As noted in my company logo, I seek to provide my clients with photography made affordable. As a father of two young boys, I know that budgets don’t always include things like professional photography, and that while capturing photographs of our families is valued by most, being able to afford such things is not always practical.

With this in mind, I have strived to build a business that marries quality photography with affordability.

I think you will find that my business model is one that does just that. From budget friendly session fees to reasonable print and merchandise pricing, my goal is to make photography within reach for everyone.
