DON’T GO HERE! You will be ripped off. I brought in my projector on November 11^th because it was flickering on and off, perhaps the lens needed to be taken apart and cleaned. The guy I talked to (presumably Jim) quoted me $ 45 and said it’ll take about a week. I paid, left the projector with him, and came back a week and a half later. A different employee was there and told me they hadn’t taken a look at it yet but would within a day or so. I came back a few days later and Jim was there. He told me they hadn’t worked on it yet, but it was next on his list of electronics he had to fix. He showed me the list, and it was next. It was Thanksgiving that week so I went home for the holidays and came back about 5 days later. I walked in, Jim recognized me and I said I wanted my projector. He nodded, walked in the back and came out a few minutes later with a paper in his hand. He told me they had been running it and it was working. I asked if he had cleaned the lens and he said no, but to come back in a day or two and he would have it ready. At this point, it was early December and I had been without my projector for almost a month so I got pissed and argued with him for awhile. I demanded a refund and told him to give me my projector back. He refused to refund me multiple times, despite him providing me with no service whatsoever. I took my projector and left. When I tested it at home, it worked for 5 minutes before flickering on and off once again. Thanks for nothing, Jim. He doesn’t give a shit about your satisfaction as a costumer. The worst repair service experience I’ve ever had

I’ve had a few things fixed here and am very pleased with their service. They recently fixed a very expensive amp that another shop had badly butchered. Two shops I asked near me in California wouldn’t touch it, even the manufacturer’s factory service said don’t bother shipping it to them.
Working with Jim and his technician Chris is a real pleasure.

I had very positive experience the first time I used Jim. I was quoted $ 65, he gave me my electronics back and I paid $ 65.
The next time I used Jim’s service, he quoted me $ 45, then called back and said it would be another $ 100 to get my item fixed. Even though the item only costs $ 100…They basically stole $ 45 from me.
Bait and switch fraud. Avoid.

This is a great place for buying or getting a record player fixed.
I came here as a recommendation from the House of Records and I was not disappointed.
They have a good selection of record players, ranging from between 80 and 120 dollars, speakers with low end models around 50 – 70 and receivers. All the prices were good especially since you know it is from a trustworthy store, so you expect it to work and not some random craigslist person that may rip you off.
They also have turntable needles that they will install for you right there.
All the times I’ve went there, the service has been great. All the workers have been friendly and willing to help.
As for the video, television or other repair, I can’t comment on that since I’ve never had it done.
