Grateful Dread was founded in 2015 by Hair Stylist & Special Effects Makeup Artist Cherie Straw. Cherie relocated to Eugene, Oregon from Des Moines, Iowa. Grateful Dread wanted to bring it’s artistic and effective dreadlocking techinque and creative hair styling to the beautiful state of Oregon. Cherie believes that hair is art and wants to make the world a more colorful place! With years of experience, a sweet demeanor, and a creative mind she is able to help you achieve your hair dreams!
