Stopped in for a quick cup and was not disappointed. True artisans behind the counter

It’s the kind of place where you walk out with a six dollar latte because they only do two shots in a 20oz and charge 70 cents for soy milk. I can’t imagine the cost if I wanted to make that a vanilla latte. It’s mediocre coffee at absurdly high prices. It is not announced as organic or fair trade either.

Delicious Mocha Mud! Would have given 5 stars, but definitely overpriced for the quantity, despite the quality.

It has been a year since I’ve been here so my review is based on my memory. My husband and I visited Eugene for the first time when he was interviewing for a job. Our now friends(strangers at the time) took us here whilst showing us around town. I loved it, although I haven’t had the chance to go back since we moved here(he got the job obviously). I recall really enjoying the cinnamon vanilla latte I had. Great espresso flavor. I love espresso very much but I’m not exactly an espresso snob. I like Starbucks. It is possible I liked Full City better, but I’ll have to go visit them again soon to be sure! I remember the baristas being very friendly as well so hopefully that hasn’t changed.

Stopped by for a cup of joe. Had a lovely Americano & slice of coffee cake. The Americano — really good. I’ve had a couple better, many a lot worse. The coffee cake? Amazing. Baked in a bundt pan, had lots of crispy edge parts that made my mouth so happy. A light chocolate swirl that was just enough. Buttery, rich. The people were nice, both employees and patrons.

Went here three days in a row while here for a hockey tournament– excellent quality coffee. Very good pastries, as well, freshly made. Highly recommend…

My first cup of coffee in Oregon. Recommended by the Valet at Inn at the 5th… as we had no idea where to go. Kind of a non-descript storefront on relatively busy street. Small, quaint inside with a few tables inside and a couple of two tops outside if you’re there when there’s nice weather. My soy latte was above average… perfect temperature, soy was sweet and not foamy… more smooth like I like it. I wish I could remember the muffin I had… pic below. Wow it was good. My daughter ordered a bran muffin and was soon absconding with mine. Barrista was sweet and quick. She seemed to know everyone in there. Always a good sign.

Good coffee and friendly service. Didn’t get to explore the offerings too much but the samples of the sweet zucchini bread were tasty

Coffee is good, spendy for what you get. Parking is awful, but average for the neighborhood.

Best coffees in town! If you’re been to Europe, you have a different appreciation for a well frothed drink. They make an amazing drink. The first sip is always amazing. They have a variety of great pastries as well. They don’t have a kitchen so don’t do eggs but their bakery always has quiche or muffins or great bagels available.

Coffee is good but hey this is the northwest and we can basically get good coffee anywhere, especially at better prices. Seriously almost $ 5 for a 12 oz Vanilla chai? Oh ya and my roommate found out after going there for tea about 15 times that her loyalty card she got because she was told she would earn free drinks doesn’t doesn’t accrue points for tea. Also I hope you don’t have the displeasure of meeting the rude owner or witness how he treats his employees.

I can only comment about the coffee here. The physical location is interesting. It has two separate sides kind of a mirror of each side. They have no wi-fi…very disappointing since I was just entering town and wanted to enjoy some coffee and check my email. I was told there is free wi-fi from the city outside in the back of the building. I bought a cup of coffee. I have no idea if the beans are organic/fair-trade/shadegrown…they say they roast the finest Arabica beans in the world but that is all I know. I like to taste coffee black so I can get the real flavor before deciding how much ½ and ½ and sugar I want to put in my coffee, if at all. I needed a lot of both to drink it. It was very strong/bitter tasting. I took my cup out back and sat outside and got online. I never finished my cup. I don’t think I’ll return.

It’s winter and time for pumpkin scones to appear. Mine appeared delicious in the display case but it was dry. The staff was just pleasant and then a new barista arrived with more personality. The coffee was really hot and good. The atmosphere had a charming feel of an old time coffee shop. Overall I would return and give it another try. It’s definitely a place for court house staff.

Two automatic associations made with Eugene:
«The Ducks» and«Track City U.S.A.». But now, a third title, a third badge of honor, a third reason to stop in to this little second largest city of Oregon, town– The BEST iced coffee I added a little soy the result was a balanced, smooth and bold iced coffee drink that had not a hint of bitter and wasn’t watered down by the ice.

I LOVE Coffee. That’s probably not a secret! I used to work for Java Trading Co. and Distant Lands Coffee in Seattle and I really appreciate great coffee when I taste it. I take my coffee black or just straight espresso so the quality and roasting is very important to me. The service is really good and they always remember my order when I come through the door. If you’re looking for a great cup of coffee, a place to visit with friends and family or read the paper, this is the perfect spot. If you are looking for a quiet workspace or wi-fi this probably is not the best fit. If you haven’t tried Full City Coffee it’s well worth a stop in.

I hate this place for only one reason: It has turned me into a coffee snob. This is the best coffee shop I have ever been to. The coffee is great(although, not necessarily good for people who like starbucks drinks that are loaded with sugar and syrups). This place serves real coffee, and it is really good. All of their baristas are always friendly, and they all know my drink of choice. I walk in, and when it’s my turn to order, they just simply ask«The usual?» And I always smile and say yes. I really do appreciate their amazing customer service, they’re always welcoming, and they really make an effort to remember their usual customers; something I feel many establishments lack. Best coffee in town… possibly ever.

Wow. I feel like a real jerk being the first to post a so-so review for Full City. Sorry. However, I don’t like the taste of their coffee. It’s bitter, and flat. Additionally, since they took over the bakery next door, the quality of the baked items are less than satisfying. There are very few savory offerings and the sandwiches are quite over priced for what they are. That said, I LOVE the location! I also love the counter staff. When I worked downtown I would eat my lunches here in the winter and never received a sideways glance… even though I would usually only purchase tea. As another plus, I would often bring my cup over for some hot water, and the baristas would gladly oblige, no charge. So again, I feel badly. But, the taste just isn’t there.

We were looking for a local coffee house to provide some liquid energy to get us charged up for a long evening screaming our lungs out at Autzen Stadium. Full City Café has a fantastic location in downtown Eugene just one block from the Farmer’s Market. The feel of the place is quite transient. It appealed to me more as a place to grab and go rather than stay and sip. The bathroom is also upstairs, kind of a mess and requires a key, so that was reminiscent of a gas station. The coffee was on the bitter side which is really too bad since the baristas were quite friendly. Overall a place which got the job done, but lacked the qualities that would bring me back for more.

I’m fond of their flavorful Americano(and man, their espresso is rich and bold… very nice indeed), but their drip is rancid, and somehow left me with a taste that reminds me of burnt rubber soaked in cat urine. Gross, I know! It must be the filter or something. Or I just had two unfortunate days of drip coffee from them?! Anyhow, stick to their espresso drinks and you’ll be happy. It really does taste as if it was just roasted and ground that very moment I ordered it… but again, stay away from the drip. I also like that they have the New York Times on hand. Of course I read the beloved Register Guard, but I like going through NY Times’ Sunday magazine. Selling fresh baked goods is also a bonus, since they’re right next to it and own it! And if you’re paying by credit card, make sure you purchase more than $ 4 worth of goodies.
