Best hawaiian food in Eugene! The owners are so nice, and are there everyday to help cook and make sure the food is perfect. I love this food truck!!! We go there to eat at least 2x a week.

I’ve never been to Hawaii, but I know when I’m eating great food. Don’t hesitate to come down and order up. If this is your first time, beef teriyaki is a very safe choice. Enjoy!

Born and raised Makawao and moved out to Eugene a few years back. Tried other Hawaiian food places and found teriyaki beef and BBQ chicken. Nothing really Hawaiian but everything«Hawaiian» If you catch my meaning. Heard about this place from a friend and decided to give them a shot. Damn if I wasn’t surprised to find the food tastes like I’m at a local luau for one keiki cousins grad party. Bit into the poke and found my pidgin starting to slip out. 5⁄5 for being the best local food I’ve found in Eugene so far.

BEST«real deal» Hawaiian in town. So happy my friend told me how/where to find these guys! MUST try them if you have not! Seriously, everything you get from them is excellent & we are very picky about our Hawaiian food! Musubi is yummers! I always get extra to hold me over until I can get back there for more. TIP! use the app Street Food & you’ll know their schedule.

Happened to walk up from downwind and the smell of the food cooking on the grill took me straight back to Hawaii, hanging out in my friends backyard, despite the chilly temps. Talked a little story and ordered the special. The chicken was a little dry but the rice was perfect and the Mac salad was tasty, not just noodles and black pepper in mayo. It was a long walk to get there, so I ate at the table. Although it was chilly, I enjoyed the interaction between the owners and the customers. Will be visiting again. Also, for those who aren’t aware, they post the specials on their Instagram, edkh2014

Awesome family run food truck, best food I have gotten off a food truck in my life hands down and probably the best Hawaiian food too. Being from LA I have no idea what real Hawaiian food is but all my friends from Oahu rejoice whenever the weekend comes around so they can stock up their fridge with«True Hawaiian food» for the rest of the week. Overall food is amazing tried it on thursday with my girlfriend and came back the very next day thats how good it was. I think the fact that they are only open Wednesday through Friday just to torture us until we can finally get our hands on their delicious food again. P. S. Little tip they often get surges of ppl from college students to huge groups of Hawaiians but they let you call in your order so call it in before you head out and it will be ready and warm for you when you get there.

Hawaiian food is supposed to be cheap, plentiful and not very varied. You get a bunch of protein and carbs with little or no vegetation, and deal with the fallout in the bathroom the next day. That’s exactly what college kids like about it. It’s perfect for filling up at lunch or sopping up alcohol at night. We have had a couple of disappointing experiences with Hawaiian food in Eugene, so hearing about a new Hawaiian food truck didn’t strike me as great news. This time I was pleasantly surprised. The truck was already besieged with college kids when we arrived shortly after their 6 pm opening, so we had a bit of a wait. The proprietors are still learning their way around apparently, because they quickly fell«in the weeds,» as restaurant people say, and had to call for more help. They had a table set up nearby, but it was too cold for outside dining that night, so we brought it home. My combo plate had teriyaki chicken and kalua pork with potato/macaroni salad and rice. DLW opted for loco moco with the same sides. Everything was freshly prepared and tasty, although the loco moco was better. Chicken was rather dry and pork overly salty in the combo. Still we had plenty to eat for just $ 15, and it was a far cry better than the other options in town.

If you have been to Hawaii and enjoyed the local food, then you will appreciate this family run food truck! Our whole family loves the food and begs for it every time we drive past. Spam musubi is a must, tery chicken is a classic, poke bowl is amazing, garlic shrimp special is super popular and delicious. You must go and expect the most friendly aloha service along with food made from love. So glad you are in our neighborhood! Please stay!!!

While I hate to be the first person to give this place less than five stars, I’m going to anyway. Five stars would mean it was the Bee’s Knees in every category, and I’m just not willing to say that about this place. If we’re just talking about value, sure, it’s five star all the way, but I’m not a college student and getting a bunch of food for a little money isn’t the most important thing in my book. I was craving some Hawaiian food this evening, specifically loco moco, so I thought I’d try something new that is not as talked-about as Lani Moku at the Beergarden. I guess I wasn’t the only person with this idea, because even though we showed up shortly after 6:00, a line was already forming and several young students were already ahead of me with their orders. I was told it would be around 20 minutes to get my food, so I went to the convenience store across the street for a couple of sodas to go with our meal. As I mentioned, I got the loco moco and I ordered a combo plate of kalua pork and teriyaki chicken for my husband, and they were both worth waiting for on a cold, cold evening. The pork was a teeny bit salty and the rice was just OK, but overall I really liked our meal and we both stuffed ourselves silly. But it is just a food truck, and it’s getting awfully cold out there and I’m not hardy enough to eat outside on a picnic table at this time of night. Speaking of which, if the words«Every Day» are in the name of your business, why is it only open 3 nights a week? And why only after dark? I also wish I was more«in the know» because I saw only 4 items available on the posted menu(plus 1 combo meal), and no specials, but people who came up after I did asked for and received garlic chicken, which was listed nowhere. So, if you want to eat here and you want some of the other items that aren’t on the menu, ask if they have it or not. I would have liked to try the spam musubi, but I didn’t think to ask and I’m sorry I didn’t. Give this place a try and I guarantee that you will leave full, even if it’s not the absolute best meal you’ve ever had.

I’m so happy to have found local(Hawaiian) dishes so far from the islands. I didn’t realize this was a food truck and initially drove past it. I ordered the combo plate with Kahlua pig and teriyaki beef. Yum! It came with two scoops of rice, macaroni salad and chocolate mochi — a pretty traditional plate lunch. Yum! I’m very satisfied with the meal and definitely recommend to those craving delicious local food and a taste of the islands.

I had an amazing experience with the dish i got! The Shoyu rice and kahlua pig are so delicious! I would definitely come back and try their other specials for the day! The hawaiian dish is beyond being mediocre like any other hawaiian food trucks and kiosk. The server were nice and friendly!

EDKG is the one and only place that will deliver good tasting«ono» food, serving it’s customers always with the aloha spirit. I can’t wait to get back to Eugene and see them, definitely one of my first stops. They will make you feel at home, make you laugh and have real genuine conversations. Mahalo to you guys for keeping it real and having nothing but the best! Can’t wait to see ya’llllllllll. Hahahaha, Aloha Oe’

Stopped by there last night due to all the reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. Had the beef plate and the spam roll thing. Service was very friendly and cheerful. To be honest I still like the mac salad better at Hawaiian time, but the beef plate kicked butt! The spam roll thing was a yummy treat. Saw a group of Hawaiians hanging around the place so that’s always a good sign. This will by my goto place for Hawaiian plates from now on.

Walked to this place the other night as they moved locations to across the street from Prince Pucklers. I had the combo plate with teriyaki chicken and beef. It also came with Mac salad and rice. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The owners are very friendly and created an inviting atmosphere. I will definitely be back for some local Hawaiian grinds!

Great food. We had the kalua pork and teriyaki chicken catered for 50 people. Very generous portions, we sent lots of food home with people. Everyone loved the food and asked where it was from. Kawika and his family came out and set everything up. So happy with the food and the service.

Legit Hawaiian food in Eugene. Don’t waste your time at the chain places, this is it. The folks working are super nice, love to talk story. Also willing to give out samples if you want. Prices are VERY reasonable. You can eat for under $ 10 and be beyond full.
