Took a perfectly working iPhone 6 in for screen repair. They bricked it. Gave it back and said sorry.
Talked with the owner and he will make it right. I wish they would have shown my daughter the same repeat they gave me.

2^nd visit. These guys are great! Nice friendly and very helpful. I was there for about an hour and Mike was helping me figure something out. Not only was he great with me, but I overheard how they treated all their customers who came in. Let’s just say I’m impressed! And they have some really nice phones for fair prices.

Great service, knowledgable and able technicians, reasonable prices. Everything was explained up front. So glad to find a place that could help me so fast! Don’t listen to negative reviews, everyone I know has had great service from this place!

I like this place! The staff are always friendly and fast! I’ve had my screen replaced there twice, and both times I was extremely happy with their work. I hope I don’t need to go back anytime soon, but I wouldhappily recommend them to anyone looking for a quick screen fix!

I had travelled to Eugene for a conference at U. Oregon, but had sat on my Nexus 5 and crushed the screen a few days earlier when in Hawai‘i. These guys overnighted the part to Eugene, repaired the phone perfectly, and then **HAND DELIVERED** it to me on campus while I was in attendence at a talk, all before I had to return to Hawai‘i. I can’t laud these guys more. Thank you so much!

Great experience with the technicians at this cell phone repair business. Took in my iPhone 5s that I have tried to repair myself and failed. They had it running in five minutes and declined to take any money for the repair! But they did get a nice tip…

These guys are great. Had an iPad repaired, had an issue, they made it right no questions asked.

They are awesome, did a great job on my cousins iPhone5s. They worked on her cracked phone screen 2 months ago for $ 120. She brought it back today because the screen started to appear fuzzy. They took it in to look at what they could do while we got lunch at Café Yumm in the shopping center next door. When we came back to pick it up, they replaced the screen at no charge. Her phone looks brand new. My brother first suggested them to her, now my entire family goes to them.

I really wanted to like this place since it is a local business and its super close, but giving 2 stars because of how weird and awkward it is to work with them. Their customer service, and the way the present their business in that upstairs business park box is a little «off» — its hard to describe just not the feeling a get when I go to any other business. That being said, both my devices did get fixed… sorta. I have had 2 iPhone worked on here of the last 2 years.
First device they worked on for me was my iPhone 4. I had a charging port go out sometime in 2012 (going as best from memory). Went in and I think it was around $ 30-​$ 40 to get it fixed. Not too bad, and had it done quickly that same day. I got it back and great! The new charging port works… then the home button stops working later that night. Take it back the next day, and they put a new part in (charging port, home, button, speaker, and mic are all the same part) for no charge. New part in and everything worked for about 2 weeks which then the charging port went out again. I took it back… again and they tell me it’s outside of their guarantee window, and I would have to pay again for them to fix it. Reluctantly (and now I realize this is where I should have gone elsewhere) I paid again to have another charging port put in. Then the dance starts all over again– this time great the charging port works! But now the loudspeaker doesn’t. Take it back… again and they fix it no charge. This fix did stick I believe for a few more months when, guest what, the charging port stopped working. I said screw it, and had a free upgrade to a new 4S with Verizon.
I had that i4 phone for years never had problems, and had a case that covered the port, and always kept it clear of water/​liquids to avoid corrosion. Then I burn through 3 ports in a matter of months? Who knows? My 4S has been in the same place on my night stand, with the same charging cord with no problems.
More recently (September 2014) my 4S took a brief swim, and even after sitting in rice for 12 hours the volume buttons, and lock button were not working. I tried Verizon, but its $ 230 to upgrade to an iPhone 6. So I opt for the cheaper option of having them fix my 4S. I thought it has been 2 years, and they might have improved. Walked in on a Saturday afternoon, and still nothing but white walls, a glass case full of broken phones, and a white board with their prices. Let the guy know what I was looking for, and he suggested their water damage treatment for $ 50, which takes 3 days, and $ 10 for a new power button. I say go for it, as $ 60 is better then $ 230. Here is where it gets tricky– they have my phone now for 3 days, and tell me to come back on Monday at 5pm (which is only 2 days from Sat). I leave my email saying that is the best way to get ahold of me with no phone. I also leave my GF’s phone number, but tell them that email is much faster.
Monday rolls around, and I dropped by just to see if there was any update. They said it was still in the water damage process, but they need my passcode — which they could have emailed me for. Later that night they call my GF’s phone, and say the treatment is done, but it didn’t fix the buttons so they will need to replace. To their credit they didn’t charge to add the parts to the process, but I saw it as I was paying $ 60 to get a fixed phone. The only hiccup is they are waiting on parts, and will be another day before its done — ok I understand. They say 5 pm tomorrow it will be done. I say to EMAIL me when it is done. 5:30pm Tuesday and no email, my GF gets home and it looks like they called, but no voicemail. I call them back and they say that it was done, but they needed my passcode… again. I give her the passcode and she hangs up without saying bye or she’ll call back in 15min or whatever. I wait 1 hour to call them back again, guest what? Phone has been done ready to be picked up– no call or email. Went over there paid $ 60 on their Square iPad device (which is weird for a stationary business IMO), and left with such a weird shady feeling that I would not be using them in the future.
Like I said to start this when I first used them in 2012 I wanted to like them so much, and again this past week I wanted them to have improved so that I could continue to utilize them, and recommend them. I think I was an understanding consumer, and gave them every opportunity to make me feel like I got good value/​service, but no — left with a sketchy/​shady feeling, and I had to be super proactive to get any update or to keep the ball moving to get my phone fixed. I would be happy to share feedback directly with Cellular Mekanix if they want, they can email me!

Horrible service. I called to see about getting something fixed and the girl who answered the phone couldnt understand what i was talking about. I gave her the make and model of the phone and said it had a cracked screen. She said she didnt think they fixed that kind of thing and then told me to come in and pay $ 40 for them to look at it and see if they could fix it.

They fixed the screen on my Note 2… so much cheaper than buying a new phone! The customer service was great, I’ll be back.

So I recovered my stolen iPad mini at this store. Frankly they should have known better than to deal in stolen goods. My personal contact info came up on the screen when the lady they had sold it to on eBay couldn’t use it, she called me, but before I could get back to her she returned it to Cellular Mek. When I tracked it down to Cell Mek they agreed to send it to me. It turns out they had started to part the thing out, so they had to put it back together. It took over a month, but at the end of the day I got my iPad back (without the case). So, a bit of a mixed review, but I am one to give the benefit of the doubt. I bet they will be more careful in the future.

They repaired the screen on the iPod in a timely manner. They called me when I forgot to pick it up. Great customer service.

My iPhone 5 had an unfortunate accident while I was on vacation which left its screen shattered. I dropped the phone off at Cellular Mekanix and within an hour, the phone was finished looking as good as new. These guys were a lifesaver for this kid who cannot be without her phone.

While on vacation our iPhone had a water accident, took it to these people for a repair and they had the phone for four days and when they said it was repaired after they decided whether it was repaired or not with the on off switch, battery or screen we finally got it back. It never performed well until we got back home after taking it to our repair facility. I talked to my repair facility and the guy said that it was haphazardly put back together and missing screws. Now that my guy has repaire the repair job it is working as designed. I hope that this was not the type of normal type of business Cellular Mechanix works, if so I’d rethink using them. Probably just as disappointing was the poor customer relations they seem to use. If you as a business say your going to call at least have the courtesy to call. Poor customer service skills if ya want to call it that.

These guys are awesome. My screen on my ipad 4 was cracked, they replaced the screen, parts and labor for a reasonable price. I was very impressed. Short turn around time as well. They know what they are doing!
