I passed the place yesterday, and saw a notice on the door stating that the landlord had locked them out and placed a lien on the contents of the restaurant. Looks like they are finished.

Average ny style pizza, typical ny attitude by owner. Hard to park, try the spots next to the food carts. Mite have to go with a whole pie next time instead of slices for the family.

Surprisingly good pizza for a place that was meant as an adjunct biz to one of the local gaming shops. If you like NY style pizza that you can buy whole or by the slice with the occasional creative topping combinations, this is a good place to check out. I’ve had whole pies and by the slice on several occasions, and both do pretty well. The service varies depending upon who’s watching the pies that day, but overall they’re super nice folks– some are just less attentive than others. I am, however, always showing up during a lull, so I might just be catching them on their«I just ran out of sidework» downtime.

Very good pizza and calzones. Feels a lot like a small NYC pizzeria. Prices seem fair. The space is small, but cozy if you’re looking to sit for a few minutes and stuff your face. Probably best for takeout, though.

Wow. Big Slice keeps getting better, this is without a doubt the best Pizza in Eugene, and probably the best Pizza I have had outside of the New York City metro area. None of the other pizza places in town come close to authentic NYC style slices and pies. Big Slice clearly put a great deal of effort into sourcing their ingredients and crafting the perfect crust, sauce and cheese. Any New Yorker and anyone who has appreciated an authentic old school New-York-Italian pizza slice(not necessarily the Manhattan joints, a lot of them are lousy and geared towards tourists) will appreciate what Big Slice offers.

The pizza was okay. I had delivery so it was not warm. The crust and the cheese didn’t taste great because it was cold.

This place is decent. Clean, with several choices of pie that you can buy a slice of. The dude slid it in the oven for a bit to reheat. The slice tasted fresh and the crust was thin and crunchy. Nice.

Wow! Was hungry while waiting in line at the McDonald theatre for a concert and walked around and found this gem. Quaint pizza shop attached to a cool music/movie/game shop. Authentic and delicious and speedy cook time. One slice fills you up and I believe it was only $ 3 a slice. I wish I lived in Eugene otherwise I would get this pizza weekly. Great food for on the go and keeps you filled up all night so you can enjoy a concert! yum yum yum! I’m also italian and I’m very picky about my pizza… so if I loved it that goes to show! :)
