I purchased a few groupons for this place, and had never been before. When my bach. party came around I thought oh how fun we can all go. We did make the appointments fairly close to the date, but I had told them it was for my party, and they never mentioned they had VERYLIMITED availability, so it ended up being the 4 of us who I had scheduled appointments for. The services were below average and their waiting area is in the middle of the salon, kind of odd. But none of this was a deal breaker for me. This older woman(I assume the owner) kept telling me that she could not, absolutely could not do my sisters nails because they were too short. I said all I want is for her to have the gel polish, but you brush it on just like anything else(that’s what my nail lady had told me when I asked) and she said NONONO and I asked why she said it would chip off and I said well isn’t that my choice whether I care or not, I want her to have the gel nails. So reluctantly she agreed to do it and I found out why when I left. My maid of honor was in the room with my sister when she over heard the women say something along the lines of not wanting to do services with a retard… and since my 16 year old sister has down syndrome she apparently is not worthy of this woman’s time. This broke my heart and I wish someone would have told me this to my face because this woman would have gotten an earful. AWFUL. I went here because I bought a Groupon for a facial. When I called to make the appointment the person was nice enough, but could not seem to make the appointment and said someone would call me back. It was a few days before they called back, annoying. They did get me in, and the lady who did my facial was nice enough, but it was not relaxing at all. The room where they do facials is just part of one big room that they partitioned off, which does not help in any way to block sound. I could hear people chatting, phones ringing, and other employees talking about their lunch/weekend plans/complaining about working. Also, when she had a mask drying on my face she just left the room. I had a facial at the much superior Gervais and when my mask was drying she gave me a hand and foot massage. I think a facial done at home by my 5 year old would have been more relaxing. Don’t go to this place!!!

–I came in early May 2012. –Their location is not just awkward and their address was incorrect when using my GPS to arrive in their location. –The only nail technician other than the owner faced a difficult situation and came to my appointment an hour late, yet the owner placed my feet to soak for ½+ hour and did nothing else but reassured me that the nail technicial was coming soon and was showing her frustration and immaturity towards her own employee. –Overall, the owner did not have any back up. –The setting appeared unsanitary when I was present. Floors not swept consistently and an environment that looked more like a goodwill rather than a nails spa. –The nail technician finally arrived and took four hours to do my living social mani and pedi. –Immature conversations exchanged between them and lastly, my nails chipped the same day, even though it was supposed to be gel. –Poor, poor customer service :/

Worst wax ever. Bad service, careless to client. She moved too fast, left me with bruises! I have had many waxes and this was by far the most inconsiderate and uncomfortable experience. She didn’t get all the hair, and left me with too much wax on my skin. I hope they change their service!

Not the best, came in for a living social deal for gel mani and pedi. Not that great at shaping the nails and cuticle or removing the dead skin from around the nail. The polish looks okay, but not amazing. They also had way less colors than they gave you to choose from, I had to change my color many times. I am not sure my nails are better than they were when I came in. Massage was good though. For the deal, it was worth it, otherwise not worth eagerly pursuing.

Went in today with a groupon special for a cocoloco facial, and was pretty excited that I could do it in tandem with my partner. I hadn’t done a facial in a very long time, and didn’t know quite what to expect. I never caught the names of the women doing the facials, which was unfortunate if I want to go back for another — but the place is small enough I will probably be able to find her ok. Looks like an established buisiness that is trying to build clientele with the groupons/living socials, and I can see why — they are tucked away a little bit, and not as fancy as some of the newfangled salons out there. I really think they did a lot with the space they had, but the room for facials was really made up of adjoining bookcases so sound carried through, and a vendor delivering goods had a very important call to take while I was letting the chocolate soak in, unfortunately. The estheticians acknowledged the limitations of the space, and tried to keep what fancy was there as fancy as possible. The massage and facial itself was absolutely wonderful(aside from the outside noise) and I felt great afterwards. They seemed happy to work with me and meet me on my comfort level, and like they really knew what to do during the facial. The massage was in fact epic. I would consider going back, especially for specials, but would not recommend them as a «fancy» place yet — I think they are working towards it, but currently really seem strong with an older clientele who gets their hair done weekly.
