I found the employees to be very welcoming, helpful and most pleasant with one huge exception, the pharmacy department. There you couldn’t buy a smile nor a nice word. When I returned to pick up my prescription at the drive-in window, the experience was worse. The clerk had the sourest puss imaginable. It was as if I were intruding on her. I said, «I’m here to pick up my prescription» and waited for a reply. She gave me an even worse look, tossing her head like she were saying«duh!» Then she scowled out, «FORRRR?» So I gave her my name. She was obviously put out by my mere presence. I don’t wish to inconvenience her or the others in the pharmacy again, so I’ll go elsewhere for my prescriptions. You have to wonder too how such nasty people get past the employment interview. What was the manager thinking?
