History

Established in 1924.

B&B Appliance Company was founded by Max and Irvin Blumenthal in 1924. This locally owned company began as an automotive supply company.

Max Blumenthal’s sons took over the business in 1943. In 1977, under the guidance of Larry Blumenthal, B&B opened a second location in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. In 1993 Larry Blumenthal passed away. His principles of honesty, integrity and outstanding customer service continue to guide us today.

Today, President Jeff Blumenthal and Vice President Marc Blumenthal carry on the third generation family business. B&B currently employs over 50 people. Many have worked here 30 or more years. The real key to the Company’s success is our loyal employees who are dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. It is the key reason we have been able to stay in business to serve our customers for over 85 years.
