Rams Horn Village Resort

The service is good, the rooms are comfortable, and every cookware we need is available in the kitchen. There are some Starbucks coffee powder for guests to make enough coffee in the morning. I even saw 20 elks of a harem, one rabbit in front of my cabin in the morning. Very worthy of my money.

Dishonest people. Would not return a 200 deposit when the entire city was flooded out. Our wedding was ruined, but they had no heart, they just wanted to keep their 200 dollars. WOW. All of our guests that were NOT staying at Rams Horn were refunded for their hotel deposits in Estes. If only we chose to stay at one of the hotels with compassion and heart for our wedding night, we would have gotten our deposit back and we would have been able to stay somewhere nice on our wedding night. Your hotel does not care about people at all.

This is our second visit and we plan to return many times. We feel like we’ve found a hidden gem because it’s the only place in Estes Park that doesn’t require a two might stay at busy times, is reasonably priced, almost always has availability and offers top notch accommodations.
Our two different two bedroom cabins both offered many small decks with comfy chairs to enjoy the peace. The beds are comfy. The kitchens include all the gadgets you need along with a coffee maker and complimentary Starbucks coffee. Love the gas fireplace in the living room and the luxurious leather sofa.
As if the accommodations weren’t enough for the money, they have free bikes to borrow for the family, DVD’s to check out, gas grills across the property to use, outdoor seating areas with fire pits near most cabins, hot tubs, a heated pool, Saturday night wine & cheese social, Sunday morning Belgian waffle breakfast and more.
The staff are super friendly and helpful. We’re always welcomed to our cabin with a personalized sign for our family.
There were a couple negative comments here that obviously posted bad reviews on the wrong location (door lock in photo doesn’t exist here and location mentioned in the other isn’t this location).

At first phone conversation this place was different. We try to visit Estes atleast once a year and trying different places can be sketchy. However, both of our phone conversations were welcoming, helpful, and real. When we arrived to the resort we were greeted with the same warmth. As we arrived to our home, our family name graced the door and it felt great! The space is clean, full of everyday utensils, and anything you can think of! We will DEFINITELY visit soon. Our new home away from home.

This place is beautiful! A few of my friends and I were able to stay here for 4 days and found it very hard to leave. The town of Estes Park is small and not near as main stream as others, which just adds to the appeal. This property is well maintained and office staff is friendly and very hospitable. Needless to say we are all planning our next trip back! Definitely worth every penny spent.

Thiis a perfect location next to Rocky Mountain National Park. We try to come every year and have never been disappointed. We have amazing photos of elk roaming the property. The staff is so gracious and accommodating. The grounds and units are pristine.

Beautiful location, comfortable accommodations, gas fireplace was most welcome on sub zero nights. Minutes from fantastic snowshoeing in RMNP. We’ll be back.

Just wanted to thank the owner/​management for their warm welcome today. 40 years ago we stayed at Ram’s Horn Cottages on our honeymoon. We drove to Estes Park for a day trip today and stopped by for old times sake. We got to see the lovely new accommodations that have replaced the rustic cabin we stayed in. Thank you for the memories!

Don’t stay here unless you want to loose your deposit. Even if a wedding venue is flooded out you will loose hundreds weeks in advance of cancelation. The cheap looking apartments are not worth it regardless of the dishonest management.

We recently stayed at Ram’s Horn for a week’s vacation by trading one of our RCI weeks. The house we stayed in was beautiful, well equipped and decorated, and comfortable in every way. The resort is located just a couple miles from the entrance to Rocky Mt. National Park so we went into the national park daily to look at the wildlife. One day we witnessed the spring frolic ritual of the elk which was a real treat. The staff at Ram’s Horn are very helpful and answered many questions that we asked. You can stay at Ram’s Horn for less than a week and rent the units if they are available. I would highly recommend them.

Amazing stay everytime and beautiful views! Everyone is always very friendly whether you talk to them on the phone or during your stay. It is very quiet all the time as well and in a great location. The resort is at the base of the Rocky Mountain National Park which is great for hiking, driving or just about anything involving gorgeous views of the mountains, valleys and wildlife. The Resort itself is nice and they are fully furnished with appliances for cooking and everything else. Fireplaces included and they always have owner events on the weekends like a wine and cheese party and waffle breakfast on sunday mornings. Nice pool and hot tubs as well. My wife and I love it!
