Specialties

Dao House Stables provides horseback riding for all skill levels. This includes instruction and trail rides. Wagon and Sleigh rides are also available. Our enhanced wagon and sleigh rides include a stop at our fire pit, hot chocolate, and the opportunity to toast marshmallows. All activities are subject to conditions being safe for both riders and horses.

History

Established in 2012.

Current ownership took over in 2012. Due to a large scale landslide, Dao House Stables was closed from September 2013 until June 2014. It was a happy day when we were able to reopen.

Dao House Stables is part of Dao House which is a retreat center featuring wellness activities such as Tai-​Chi, acupuncture, massage, and herbal foot soak. Dao House can host your wellness retreat, corporate conference, wedding, or family reunion.

Trevor B.

Manager

Our head wrangler, Trevor, came from Divide, CO where he and his family lived and worked for several years. When the owner retired, Trevor came to Dao House bringing his friendly demeanor, years of horsemanship, and knowledge of how to give riders of all type of very positive riding experience.
