Middlesex Barber & Styling Shop

I used to hold this place in high regards. I have been going to this shop since I was a child. Even though I moved away from the area, I still travel there occasionally to get my haircut. Recently the customer service and quality of their work has been abysmal. There is only one women there I trust to cut my hair who was out the last time I was there.
The most recent time I went was the last time. Walk ins I thought were acceptable, but apparently not. I sat down and spoke to Greg about what I wanted. He recommended I wait for another barber who was good in what I requested. Afterwards, Greg walked over and asked for him to cut my hair. Unknown to me, a regular of the other barber came in after me while I was talking to Greg. When it became my turn I felt rushed because his regular had to wait impatiently. He did such a rushed and terrible job. I had to make him fix it.
Unknown until I had left, my wife, who was waiting in the waiting area, overheard the barber when he walked over to his regular and blamed me for him having to wait an extra ten minutes. I’m sorry, but if one of your coworkers pawns off a job to you because he thinks you’ll do a better job, there is no need to get upset. Furthermore, my wife told me the regular customer was upset and thought he should not have to wait. I have no qualms with taking my $ 15 dollars elsewhere where I will be treated with better service.
I know this is all over a haircut, but customer service comes first in any business.

In my estimation there is probably only two good Barbers at this location. Angie and the guy that works next to her. Each time I’ve been here I’ve had a different person cut my hair. This last time was horrific. I asked to keep the shape Square, and I wanted it to look like a flat top. Instead I am practically bald with a high and tight haircut nothing even close to what I asked for. Thank God it’s hair and it will grow back in the meantime my head looks like a big round piece of shit I sure am glad I was able to pay for this… Too bad I can’t give it half a star!!!
