This place has great food at a very reasonable price! They have specials that are fabulous and it definitely is enough to fill you up and (in my case, have a meal for the next day! I love their meatloaf and it’s a toss up between which is better for dessert, rice pudding or bread pudding… imma go with just ordering both! The staff is super friendly and the place is clean. If you’re hungry, stop in to the essex diner!

Great food. Decent staff. A couple of the older girls seem a little snooty from time to time. You can tell it is mostly locals here. Everyone seems to know everyone else and are all so friendly. Good prices. Our favorite diner to come to on a Sunday morning.

Came here with friends. One of my friends wanted to eat here so we said what the heck.
Anyway i ordered a buffalo chicken wrap for breakfast and it tasted very good and the fries were just right. Not too raw nor burned.
Their water also tasted good too. And the waitress we had was ultra-​friendly.
WILL VISIT AGAIN…

Very friendly staff and reasonably priced food. I ordered the open-​faced turkey Reuben sandwich. It came with a small Greek salad, fries, and coleslaw. They were all super tasty! I ended up taking half of it home. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area!
