Bait and switch store, so don’t believe the posted signs. Price is way different when you show up at the register.

Would give them 0 stars if I could I went in looking around with a few friends, and on my way out a employee comments to me «you think your slick» and I had no clue what he was talking about. And he asked about the jacket I was wearing & it happened too be the jacket that I had boughten at another location, so he stops me thinking I’m stealing the jacket and another employee was there at the time and he makes rude remarks too me, and they made me take off my jacket even tho i didn’t want too cause they had no right but i didn’t want too complicate everything even more. And so he looks for any tags on the floor that have been ripped off and makes a big deal out of it. And towards the end I’m already heated. And gives me back my jacket and on the way out the door one of the employees says a comment i didn’t like. Long story short i felt like this situation was a racial one, I’m Mexican my friends as well, and they were white. Never going again wish i could tell there cooperate, Carlsbad zumiez location are the best.

The associates here are some of the rudest burnouts I’ve ever come across; with the exception of the gal with her septum pierced. I was in the store for a long time. Like 2 hours, I believe. I came in to buy a present for a friend, then decided to buy some things for myself and my boyfriend. I always shop like this, and nowhere has anyone given me such grief about it like the employees here. White guy with dreads:(half-joking) you’re ~STILL~ INHERE? I thought you would have found something by now Me: my stuffs at the –(walks away) — counter… He made comments throughout my shopping experience to assure me he noticed how long I was in the store. I should’ve left but they carry brands that, unfortunately, are only sold at stores where the employees talk snobby as f*** to their customers if they aren’t head-to-toe in their brands. Let’s be real, here **Icing to the cake** The taller white guy ringing me up was kind of nice, but grimaced a smile when I had to decide between two sweaters. I asked for a gift receipt and he said it’d be «easier to ring everything all at once because separate transactions will charge me tax three times… You(me) don’t wanna pay more tax just because you wanted a gift receipt, right?» Lol BRAH, the tax is going to be 8% of every charge regardless… I felt so bad, I didn’t wanna say anything. I hope he counts the cash tills and messes up their deposits. These guys suck.

Terrible customer service. I’m a big girl, and I can find what I’m looking for on my own, but the few simple questions I did have were answered with complete attitude. Like I had no idea what I was talking about and this guy had such an ego I couldn’t even believe it. I work in Customer service and I know it’s not easy. but this was by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. I believe his name was Tim? Ridiculous. Why would I want to give my money to someone like that?

Zumiez is the place to buy the most recently designed urbanwear, skatewear, and all active sports in between. They carry shoes, hoodies, t-shirts of all types, shorts, and jackets by approx 6 to 7 of the most popular independent brands out there. Their shoe selection is a wide variety of colors and styles, and I was able to shop for some of the styles in larger sizes without a problem. The sales associates there are a BIG help, even going as far as to sit on the ground looking for a 2XL in a hoodie I was looking for, and after she found it(and I wasn’t happy with the print she found), she rifled through another stack of similar hoodies to find one I might be interested in. That’s service! Service aside, the styles they offer typically run small, but you can still find something that will strike your fancy. Because most of the styles are designed by boutique brands, the clothes can get a little pricey, too(I paid $ 31.95 for a cotton t-shirt). Give it a shot if you’re tired of the typical extreme sports brands.
