I remember one of my first science experiments when I was 5 – 6 years old was placing flowers into varying liquids to drink, i.e. water, 7-​up, coke, sugar water, vinegar, etc… to see which liquids would make the flowers last the longest. That was probably one of the first signs that I was destined to become a floral artist! Following my passion for art and all things organic I found my first job in the floral industry while studying fine art and design in college.

After designing with and managing some of the top high-​end florists in San Diego for the past 14 years, I decided to follow my passion for art and flowers and started Third Bloom.

I don’t give five stars often, but when I do, they are well earned. Jen Jensen blew us away with the flowers for our wedding! She took my crazy vision, helped me stay in budget, and handed us massive amounts of incredible flowers. Really. The bridesmaid’s bouquets were bigger than most bride’s bouquets (insert heart eye smiley face emoji here), so you can imagine how big my bouquet was! The arrangements and centerpieces were stunning, and our guests were blown away. Jen was so creative, willing to work with a challenge, and delivered more than we could have asked for. Thanks so much, Jen!

Jen is AMAZING! When I met her, she already had a sample table layout and bouquet ready. And our wedding was perfect! She knew right away what I wanted and anticipated details I would like and didn’t even think about! My summer beachy bouquets were delivered while we were getting ready and they were stunning. Big beautiful dahlias and earthy eucalyptus. And my flower crown– I love it!!! I already pressed and framed it, and it is hanging in our house. I felt like a princess. Beyond the absolutely beautiful and fragrant flora, Jen also provided excellent service and was ever so accommodating to my changing budget. I am so pleased and highly recommend her!

We hired Jen for our wedding flowers and I am SO happy we did! I brought her some pictures from Pinterest as inspiration for my bouquet and the one she made was even prettier. She listened and understood exactly the kind of «look» we were going for and did a great job at achieving it. Instead of having her make arrangements for each table, we wanted to make them ourselves to help cut costs and to have a DIY project, and she helped orchestrate the exact growers bunches that we should buy so that the flowers perfectly reflected the theme and my boquet. She was very pleasant and easy to work with and any bride, person planning an event, or anyone needing some beautiful arrangements should work with Jen at Third Bloom!

Third Bloom was the first wedding vendor I fell in love with. I found Jennifer’s work while looking for wedding flowers online and became obsessed with her work. She is so creative, professional, and responsive. I felt so bad for my flurry of e-​mails (I changed my flower colors, couldn’t make up my mind of about what «theme» I wanted, also didn’t know diddly squat about flowers, etc…) but Jennifer replied to each e-​mail within a day and with well-​thought responses. It made me feel like I was her only customer even though that was DEFINITELY NOT the case. My wedding flowers ended up being really stunning and I received so many compliments on them. She was able to interpret all my vague «I want my flowers to feel like…» e-​mails into exactly what I couldn’t put into words. Jennifer — you are the best florist in San Diego. You went beyond the role of florist and at times I felt like you were my wedding counselor when I had mini melt-​downs behind my computer, e.g. whether my ceremony chairs would match the wood of the chuppah… Thank you so much for making my wedding beautiful!

Jennifer is absolutely amazing!!! My friend got married in January 2014 and I absolutely loved the flowers– my friend highly recommended her to me when it was my turn! She did the flowers and décor for my wedding and everything was perfect. My bouquet was absolutely stunning and we received SO many compliments on the centerpieces! Not to mention, Jennifer was always full of advice and ideas! I had no idea what I wanted as far as flowers– Jennifer sat down with my mom and I to assist us in the process. She is also VERY timely when it comes to e-​mails! Not to mention she has a heart of gold! My day was absolutely perfect and I am so glad we picked Third Bloom to help. :) Thanks so much Jennifer!

The centerpieces and the bridesmaids’ bouquets were just exquisite!
I loved my bridal bouquet. It was so elegant. All the guests were amazed at how beautiful the flowers looked.
Everyone was taken by the color combination Jen put together for the wedding… The ceremony and the venue floral décor looked stunning.

Jennifer at Third Bloom did such an amazing job with our beautiful flowers that when I walked into the reception and saw the centerpieces, I almost cried! They fit my vision so perfectly and were absolutely gorgeous. We had several people comment on them as we walked around and a few marveled at how she was able to get the flower petals to stay on the manzanita branches so well. We absolutely loved them!
The bouquets were also exactly what I wanted! Somehow she figured out what I saw in my head with just one conversation. I wish I could keep mine just like it is forever! I’m amazed that it’s still in fantastic shape even after being out of water for hours and it being two days later!
Jen also did an amazing job getting lego minifigures to fit onto the boutonnieres and look good! I love that they were all holding a flower. My husband works as a designer at Legoland, and the fact that we could incorporate that into the flowers was incredible. While talking with Jen, that idea somehow came up, and she was all for it and was actually excited about it! The guys all enjoyed them immensely.
I didn’t think I had done a very good job of communicating my vision, but she somehow made it a reality. She is amazing, and if you go with Third Bloom for your flowers, you will never be disappointed!

I’ve been meaning to write a review for Third Bloom for quite some time now. I worked with Jen for a charity event back in 2012 and have nothing but great respect and admiration for both her artistic vision and dedication to her clients. Jen was amazing to work with. Not only was she always available through a quick email or phone call, but she was patient and understanding with the many questions, demands and fluctuations that came along with working with our non profit. The result was an absolutely beautiful event. Jen put so much of herself into every detail and I can’t recommend Third Bloom enough!

Jennifer Jensen is the owner and creative extraordinaire behind Third Bloom Florals. You will not find a more passionate, quality florist. I swear that she is a «flower whisperer» — she has truly found her purpose and calling with flowers. Her creations are stunning, and range from simple elegance, to rustic chic, to magnificent grandeur and sophistication– she can do it all– and she makes an honest effort to work within every budget.
I am an event planner and I partner with Jenn on almost every event that I need florals on. Everyone of my clients is impressed with her work, and how she intuitively knows our needs.

Third Bloom customer service was amazing! I had a very special, last minute request. Two of the other top rated florist in Escondido wouldn’t even consider taking my order (not enough notice or the flower I wanted wasn’t available). Third Bloom called their wholesaler and really came through! I had the perfect bouquet for a very special Valentine wedding. It was gorgeous.

Jen really made it happen! I needed to get some flowers delivered late in the day to a local hospital. I called a couple of places that said they couldn’t deliver until the next morning. Then I called Jen. And even though it was late in the day (around 4:30pm), she jumped into action, and got the flowers delivered about an hour later. She was super friendly over the phone with me, too. I would definitely recommend this florist.

Jen is AMAZING!!! I knew from our first conversation that she was a perfect fit for our wedding. She was an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the process and was incredibly responsive, professional and helpful. She was even able to keep my fiancé engaged during a 2 hour consultation, which is quite a feat =) We had a vague idea of what we wanted and she had very creative suggestions. I sent her a few photos and she completely understood my vision and was able to make it even better, even matching the flowers to the exact color of the bridesmaid dresses. I also love that Third Bloom is eco-​friendly and donates leftover flowers. She was so accommodating with last minute additions and changes, which was so helpful!
Walking into the ballroom the night of our wedding was truly magical, because of Jen’s fantastic creations. The guests raved about the flowers and I’m actually truly sad not to be chatting with Jen anymore now that the wedding is over =) Jen is truly an artist and one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. If Jen is available on your wedding date, book her immediately as it will be one of the best decisions you’ll make!

Jen at Third Bloom blew me away with her floral creations for my wedding. After looking at her website and meeting her in person, I knew that Jen had a better handle on flowers than I did, so I gave her some thoughts on what I wanted my room to look like and the general feel of my wedding and she took it from there.
As Jen described to me what she wanted to create, I loved her ideas and was excited to see all my flowers. As high as my expectations were, Jen exceeded my wildest dreams. From my bouquet, to the cake, and my centerpieces — oh my gosh! — and the arch; all unbelievable. Jen’s attention to detail and artist vision would make any wedding magical.
I can’t thank Jen enough for transforming my wedding ceremony and reception room into the gorgeous venues that they were that day.

Jennifer Campbell is an absolute GENIUS armed with petals!
I hosted a fabulous dinner at Vintana for our Palm Springs Sales team recently. My concept was to bring the ocean to them. I was looking for a Chic Hamptons feel to accomplish this. What was delivered was just spectacular. My table setting was exquisite, the florals were classic, with staggered vases housing floating candles. The women of the group were just taken, but the men of the group were actually taking pictures of the setting! As the room began to get darker with the time, the table twinkled with sparkling candlelight that projected on the five brilliant arrangements that lined the center of my family style table set for 16. By the end of the evening, all of the florals were taken home by several people, one by a gentleman who was bringing it home for his wife for their anniversary.

I was so completely pleased with Jen from Third Bloom as our wedding florist! She was amazing in every respect. When I first met with Jen she was so easy to talk, had fantastic suggestions and vision, and I knew immediately I wanted to work with her. One of the things I liked most was how current with trends her ideas were but also how she genuinely listened to my vision and expanded on it to make it cohesive and simply beautiful! Her prices were also some of the best I could find, which was a huge plus to me. I also loved how easy she was to communicate with throughout the entire planning process. She was always available to talk, and quickly responded to emails and phone calls, with lots of helpful suggestions, and always with a smile and kind words.
Jen truly went above and beyond and on the day of our wedding and I was so impressed. Everything turned out absolutely beautiful and exactly as I had pictured, but somehow even better! She was very professional, on time, and made this aspect of our day so effortless and perfect for us. I recommend Jen to all of my close friends and I am very confident about recommending her! I can’t express my gratitude enough… what a special touch her work added to our perfect day!

We emailed numerous florists to begin our search and then narrowed the list to our top three based on the email responses. After meeting with all three, we knew that Jen from Third Bloom would be the right fit. Right away the main thing we loved about Jen is that she listened to what we wanted and helped us make our vision even better. She has an amazing artistic sense that really shined through on the day. On the day she even worked with the caterer to get the tables ready because they were behind schedule and she also brought additional vases in case I did not provide enough. Jen was so great to work with and thought of everything! And she was also reasonably priced, because we were on a tight budget!

We were looking for a florist for our wedding. We actually met Jen of third bloom at a vendor exhibit and loved the displays she had set. My then fiancé contacted Jen and set up a meeting and the next thing I heard was we had found our florist. Jen was amazing and accommodating and everything you could ask for in a florist. Everything from the center pieces, bouquets, boutonnieres, and station decorations were perfect and so well made. Her experience and passion really shined through and for that we were truly grateful.
