The Lighthouse Preschool and Learning Center

Our 2 year old daughter started attending the Lighthouse Preschool a few months ago, and it has been amazing watching her blossom under Ms. Deb’s care! She loves her teachers and the activities they plan. I love the warm, welcoming and secure feeling that my daughter has.
The school is always clean, inviting, and parents are welcome to «hang out» and observe or participate in the learning activities. The teachers pay very close attention to the individual needs and levels for each child, and tailor their lessons and experiences to ensure they continue to grow and develop.
I cannot say enough about the wonderful experiences we have with The Lighthouse Preschool. And as in a previous review, you can’t beat the location!

I came here today and took an amazing tour of an amazing home day care that I am super impressed with and have fallen in love with! The owner of the preschool, Debbie Robey, is super amazing and nice. Her presence when I first met her made me feel so warm and down to earth and I felt very inviting.
I came here an upon driving to the center, I was amazed by the wide open spaces, open hills, and the great views of the surrounding nature that is all around the preschool here. The outside of the preschool is set in the front of the yard and is all fenced in, but still open so you can see the great hills, orange trees and the red tail hawks that fly up above. The indoors of the home preschool is set in the garage of the house. There are different areas of the garage that are set up so that when the children come in here, they are greeted with a warming feeling where they feel relaxed and at ease. I’ve been to many different home preschools where there is so many colors, different pictures and art everywhere, and stuff hanging from the ceiling that it makes the environment so overstimulating for me. If it is overstimulating for me, could you picture how it would be for a child who is 3 or 4 years old!!!
This place is set in Escondido near the Wild Animal Park. I am so happy that I was able to take a tour of this facility and able to see the environment. I got to meet the owner which gave me a great feel of who my child would be with when I sent them there.
