My sunx pool solar system was installed today. I am very pleased with the installation team that installed the system. No detail was left incomplete. Everywhere I looked, I found all of the work performed to high standards. I am a retired nuclear ships inspector (mechanical and piping) and pay attention to detail of piping systems. At 7:00 my pool was already getting warm.

I called these guys after I had poor experience with the installer and supplier of my existing pool solar system that had prematurely failed.
Pete Baker visited on a Friday and showed me the panels and told me that installation will be within 7 – 10 days and that someone would call me on the Monday to arrange installation. Monday came and went and no call. On Wednesday my wife called Pete directly and was given some sob story about losing his phone. Obviously the paperwork made it to the office as my deposit check was cashed promptly. Pete gave us a date for our installation, 10 days after the date that we called him. Now we are up to 13 days after the contract was signed.
On the day before the installation, someone from the office called and tried to schedule an installation date, for another 5 days out. I told them that we were scheduled for the following day, but they had no knowledge or record that.
So now my pool solar might get installed 18 days after the contract was signed. I note that they didn’t wait 18 days to cash my deposit check.
If you don’t want this un-​professional treatment, look elsewhere for your solar needs.

Called these guys to see if they could service my pool solar heating system. The technician showed up, and within seconds, by looking from the ground, told me he couldn’t help me (they didn’t service my type of system). Since he was here, I asked for a quote to have them replace the system. As they guy was about to leave, he presented me with a bill for $ 135. There was never any mention of any fee to have someone come out to look at my system to give me a service quote and I never agreed, verbally or in writing, to any fee. Now they are billing me and threatening to send the bill to a collection agency.
There are lots of great solar companies here in San Diego. Pick one that is honest, fair and up front.
