I drew in my eyebrows how I wanted them to be shaped and asked the tech to clean up around what I had drew/​filled in. Yeah well I’m missing parts of my eyebrows and they are square and shaped NOTHING like what I came in with and asked for. I made it clear that I wasn’t happy and she still charged me full price for the service. I will never come back. It sucks because my husband comes back home after being away soon and my eyebrows are messed up.

L**** was the girl who did my brows this time. She was not friendly and did not smile once. I asked for a clean up. She «pulled“way too much and left a space in my brow which I have to fill in until they grow back. In addition, it was the most painful threading experience for me and I have been having this done for about 3 – 4 years now.

In a word, RUDE. I used to love coming here, but not after my last visit.
How many times can you insult someone is the short time it takes to thread some brows? Let’s see. The girl who did my brows told me I had a mustache and needed to take care of it, then told me I had a big face and I should dye my eyebrows because they were too light. I get that they are trying to make more sales, but there is a right way to do it and this was not it. Also she rushed through my service even though there was no one waiting and spent most of her time discussing with her coworker their plans for that night. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

I stopped in last Friday because I couldn’t make it to my regular threading place before date night. One dark haired younger lady was working. She was very nice and didn’t even laugh at me when I told her I was a big baby and would need a break between my brows.
For some reason when I get my brows done it is very painful and I will start to shake. However my lip is nearly painless for me. So I request my threading be done: brow, lip, brow. Which she did wonderfully. Very nice and understanding.
My brows look great and she even got every little hair of my awful Fu Manchu.
What I didn’t care for was the technique. Most threaders, scratch that, every other threader I have ever seen puts the string in their mouth and moves along with speed causing them to resemble a chicken pecking for corn. This lady had the string knotted around her neck and moved her whole body. Also she was very VERY slow. I now know the meaning of painfully slow. I have plucked before and at least then you jerk the hair out fairly quickly. This was so slow I could almost feel the hair leave my skin and my skin retract. Awful!
If I HAD to I would return to SHE BAR but not with out checking out every available option first.

The Amazon was growing over my eyes and I needed to get that taken care of stat! I have pretty bad reactions to wax and haven’t found a place that does threading yet near my new home, so while here for the holidays, I figured I should get the Amazon taken care of. There was only one lady working the kiosk and she was with another customer, but acknowledged me and said that I could have a seat while I wait.
She was very precise and evaluated her work very carefully. The lady who was getting her brows done, also got her upper lip and cheeks done. Fortunately, it is just my brows that are a problem. When it was my turn, she asked me what I wanted and I told her that they needed to be trimmed and reshaped, more curvy and that I didn’t mind my thick brows, they just needed to be tidied up. She was friendly and chatted with me for a bit, but stopped chatting when the threading got to be more serious and precise. My brows look great… it was just a little more painful than the other times I have gotten my brows done, but she did a bit more shaping, which is what I wanted. So I guess the saying holds true, one must suffer for beauty.
