Quantum Auto sales

I am very skeptical of used car dealers. as most people are. Mike was very helpful! I was able to view the inventory online and call and ask any questions about vehicles. The car I was looking at and almost 100% sure of was sold the day before I was able to come in… Mike called me to let me know that the car was being sold but that he would help me find something that was better. And he did! I traded my car in… which they gave me a very good price for! I was impressed by their selection and their professionalism. I have horrible credit and they worked with me! No pressure… and I drove off the lot with a 2014 Nissan Altima! Love my car! I’m very happy with this place!

I bought my BMW 4÷30÷15. It literally stopped working on me 4÷31÷15. I was stranded downtown. I called the dealership, and they say it may be the battery since the cars do sit on the lot for a while. I say «Ok». I call a AAA to give me a jump. My AAA representative does a diagnostic on my car because the car keeps shutting off. The agent shows me the results and the problem is the Alternator. The alternator charger the battery and since the alternator is bad no matter how many jumps I get my car will not stay running long. I call «Ray» the service manager with the information. He says ok you have a 30 day warranty so bring it in. I only have 10 miles worth of tow. I ended up paying $ 327 for my tow that day. I get to the dealership and they give me a new battery even after I tell them what the problem was and show them my diagnostic print out from AAA. They say AAA is wrong, but refuse to show me their test saying me alternator is good. I tell «Ray» personally I cannot afford to have this car towed back up here. I need your word this proposal fixed. He says to me yes. If it happens again call me personally. I leave the dealership.
I drive my car for literally 24 hours and the same thing happens. This time it shuts off on the freeway. I’m in the middle lane with my son in the car and he is terrified. I am terrified. Some good samaritans help me get to the side of the road. I immediately call the dealership, and of course the service department is closed. A salesperson named «Mike» tells me to get it towed. There goes another $ 300. AAA does another diagnostic and it’s the alternator. My car had just been running off that new battery and when that ran out it shut off on me. We could have seriously been hurt.
At the dealership the salesman Mike expresses they have been having problems with the service department. He apologizes and gives me some nasty dirty trade it that smelled like cigarette smoke. It literally had McDonald cheeseburger wrapper trash in the back. It was filthy. I was in no position to turn down the vehicle. We were stranded in Escondido and has no way to get back to El Cajon. As I’m leaving Mike tells me the service department will follow up with me the following day (Monday). I did not hear from them by noon, so I call and leave a message. I did not hear anything. I call the next day. I do not get a return call then either. The lack of communication was ridiculous. They had my vehicle and did not bother to tell me what the status was or when I would get it back. Three days into me having that «loaner vehicle» it broke down on me! I called the dealership and let them know. The office manager Eddie said he would send a tow truck or someone to give me a jump. At this point I had exhausted all my AAA call on a vehicle I had less than two weeks. He never called me back and I missed two days of work. I left messages for two days. I finally got in touch with my sales person and he told me he felt should bring it back because of all I had been through with the vehicle, and he would also be seeing if the loaner vehicle could be jumped, and he would drive that back up to Escondido. He brought a technician from the service department with him, but he didn’t bring me any paperwork on what was done with my vehicle or anything.
Lastly, a week later my Check Engine Light comes on the vehicle. I call the dealership be use the vehicle is still under warranty. I speak with «Ray» again. He proceeded to say he doesn’t know what to tell me because they are not equipped to diagnose and fix the problem. I said «excuse me?». My car is still under warranty. It is not running correctly, so I need to bring it in. He tells me again he cannot help me. He suggested I take it to a BMW dealership. And states that the warranty was really only meant for instances when my vehicle stopped running. I was in disbelief. I asked Ray to speak to Eddie to General Manager, but he was not in yet. In the meantime I took my vehicle to BMW to diagnose the check engine light. It cost me $ 99 and the total to fix the cause of it is $ 1500. I call the dealership back and get Eddie on the phone and he tells me that the service department can fix my vehicle and that Ray was just busy, and was probably mistaken. He gives me his email address and asks me to send him my paperwork from BMW, and he will follow up with me. I sent him this paperwork 5÷28÷15 and have yet to hear back from the dealership. Which is why I have filed a complaint with the BBB. They failed to honor their warranty and turned a happy experience into one from Hell and they don’t seem to care about it at all. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!

I have poor credit quantum auto sales was ableto finance to me. They put me in a Honda crv and I had some problems with it and just didn’t want to deal with it. Ray was awesome he traded my crv out and put me in a expidition. I’m having a few problems with it, called Ray he said bring it in they will fix it. Altho their cars are sold as is they do repair what ever needs for 30 days. After that if something happens to the vehicle they will fix it and you only pay for parts. And this is for the life of your financing agreement.
