LOVE this place! The people here are genuinely compassionate, and it is such a welcoming environment from the moment you walk inside the doors! There is an amazing amount of spiritual and metaphysical books to borrow from, and the store offers a great variety of books and metaphysical items for purchase too. Highly recommend attending the classes and events too!

I have been a member and visited the Philosophical Library many times over the years. Lots of wonderful books not found anywhere else.
They also sell books through there website that are rare and hard to find.

This place is Escondido’s hidden gem. I was looking for metaphysical bookstores in Escondido since I moved here from San Diego. I accidentally stumbled across this place as I was looking for places to volunteer my services.
This place is a book lover’s dream with literally thousands, and I do mean thousands of books. There’s everything from the great philosophers to Astrology, dreams, the Tarot, angels, spirituality and much more. You’ll think you died and went to Heaven! It’s like Christmas everyday without the snow!
