Business Owner

From 1968 to 1972, Mr. O’Connell served in the U.S. Army Security Agency, holding a Top Secret clearance, as an intelligence analyst and German linguist.

After discharge from the military, Mr. O’Connell completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. While at the University, he was active in local and national politics, involved primarily in veterans’ and education issues, which he continued to pursue after graduation.

Mr. O’Connell enrolled in Western State University College of Law and was admitted to the California State Bar in 1988.

Since admission to the Bar, Mr. O’Connell has practiced primarily in the areas of real estate, estates, business law and development.

Recently, in addition to his practice, he has been a featured speaker at several National Business Institute seminars on limited liability company and real estate foreclosure issues.
