Amy is awesome! She takes care of her clients and is a great conversation companion. I called in and they accepted me in for a pedi at 7:03 closing at 7pm. Great staff :)

I give this place a 5 amazing well deserved Stars. I have been doing my nails for roughly about 5 years and the last place that I went to I was not satisfied due to there overpriced place. Thanks to Tiffany she has given me everything that I have needed for my satisfaction of my nails, the length, the thinning and the wonderful shape of my nails for my nails to look fabulous. Im a Very picky girl because I know my nails but thanks to Tiffany and NAILS by Amy, I am most satisfied with customer service and the price that I truly guarantee his place to any other girl out there that is trying to look for wonderful and fantastic nails. Friendly smaller shop clean and they make sure to take their time and do it right. They have alot of regulars so it shows me they do a great job

I went to Nails by Amy for the first time based on Unilocal reviews and I’m glad I did! I hadn’t had a pedicure in over a year and my heels were extremely rough and cracked. It looks like I have new heels! She used a dremel type tool on my calluses and I also paid the $ 5 extra for the callus ointment treatment (well worth it.) I am so happy with how my feet look and feel. I will definitely go back!

Age and infirmity dictated a home visit by Amy for my wife’s pedicure and manicure, but I decided to have them myself as well. It was a completely excellent experience, and extremely well-​priced. This is a shop my Granddaughter frequents, and Amy is as expert as my Granddaughter had promised. This will be a pleasant, quarterly event for us.

I was able to make an appointment here for my first visit. Amy is wonderful and my friend and I enjoyed being able to chat and catch up while we each were pampered with a pedicure. I like that they are open on Sundays, if only by appointments. But it was worth it. The place was clean and the prices were reasonable. My friend and I both will be coming back here

I haven’t had my nails done for quite a while, so thought I’d try someplace new… wow, I’m so glad I did!
Lan gave me the best pedicure I’ve ever had! My toes and bottoms of my feet are very sensitive, but Lan was really careful to be gentle yet made my calluses look better than they had in years. Most places want to upsell a callus treatment which is usually just a scrub that they charge extra for. There was no extra charge and she used a dremel type tool to sand down the callus. My feet look smooth! Even better was the leg and foot massage that was so relaxing. I had just a regular manicure, but again felt that it was better than the others I’ve had. No gels or acrylics, just a solid great manicure.
The only thing I would have changed is that I wish I would have discovered Lan and Nails by Amy, years ago!

Love it. This is the only place I would want to do my pedicure… They are very professional. The only problem is they so far from me but, its worth the drive. I think her name is Jane she is the best.

My mom, sisters and I have been going here for many years. I highly recommend this nail shop. Great prices and service! Great gem in Escondido.

Not to bash on this place, because i have came here and they have done such a great job before. They do nice pedicures, i must admit. But, i have recently came here about 3 weeks ago to get a full set acrylic nails, Amy did them herself. (the store owner) I was impressed with the thinness, length and shape. But OMG she did not listen when i said i wanted something, i repeated myself 3 times plus i had a picture to show her, it was super simple just some jewels to cover all over one of my nails. After i had left my nails lasted 6 days… 6 days… that’s so horrible. Plus they didn’t rip my nails like usual, no problem with that but clearly they weren’t put on with much effort.

Loved this place! I came by on a whim for my bird at with my 7 month old daughter. I desperately wanted a pedicure but didn’t want to go somewhere where the chemical smells would bother her.
This place was perfect! It was small, didn’t even smell like a nail salon, and the people were incredibly friendly.
They let my daughter sit on my lap during the pedicure and interacted with her which was so helpful. It kept her from fussing and let me relax.
I’ll be coming back regularly!

I wasn’t thrilled with the coffin shape gel nails I got here. The nail tech seemed annoyed I kept saying the nails need to be narrower. I like a dramatic coffin shape and felt I made it clear, I even showed her a picture. Well I ended up with square looking nails… Definitely don’t come here if your looking for any edgy style nail, they do simple demure ones just fine, not my style. I hated my square nude nails :(

They did a wonderful job on my gel color nails. The staff was all so friendly. It was quiet and relaxing. My hand and arm massage was wonderful. Prices are reasonable. This will be my new nail salon that I go to.

Was referred by a friend. I have been to numerous nail salons and have been disappointed by how fast they want to get you in and out Amy did my nails took her time and made them perfect I will definitely come back and will refer them to my friend

This was my first visit to Nails by Amy and they fit me in on a business Sat without issue. And they were busy. All the ladies were very friendly and welcoming. I chose the European pedicure because I wanted the calluses on my feet gone more than anything else. Holly was my pedicurist (is that a word?) and she was very thorough and took extra care with my feet and legs. The massage was awesome and so relaxing. I was there for almost an hour and it was only $ 30 + tip. Holly gave me a product to use every night before bed on the problem spots on my feet. That was exactly what I was looking for and I didn’t even have to ask. Thank you, Holly! I will be back. The only bummer was I wished they served tea or had bottled water while you were there. That would have made it perfect. I’ll just bring my own the next time.

On a whim I took my 5-​year-​old daughter and our 12-​year-​old friend to get mani-​pedis done for my birthday just so we’d have some girl time doing something fun.
Everyone here was SO sweet to us – they were super busy but fit us in as quickly as they could. They used towels and pillows so my daughter could sit in the massage pedicure chair which she was dying to do. She was in heaven and the ladies took extra time to do flowers on her nails and massage her little hands and feet. She said, «Mom, can we do this EVERY day??» When I told her no she said, «Well, I guess I’ll just have to move here then.» The whole salon was cracking up.
With my little Jr. Higher, Amy realized that she was feeling perhaps a little left out because of all the attention the 5yo was getting, so she took extra time to do flowers on her nails, too, and really put extra effort into pampering her as well.
They did all of this sweetly, without charging anything extra, just because. I was really, really impressed.
I also loved that just about every client who walked in got greeted by name whether they were on the books or a drop-​in. They whole group obviously really likes their clients and takes special care to let them know how appreciated they are.
I was really sad when I left Carlsbad because I loved the nail place I went there and I’ve just driven all the way to the coast when I wanted a pedicure ever since. But we’ll be going to Amy’s now. We loved it!

Best nail salon, my favorite by far!!! Clean, friendly, comfortable and EXCELLENT services.

She is amazing. So sweet & not high pressure. She remembered me prob 6 months later! It’s not a big shop tho.
