First off i waited 2 hours before I met with Dr Anthony only to be put off by his unprofessional jock like persona. While in the room with him i felt my toes cringe by the way i was spoken to. after a 5 minute visit with him I left feeling extremely offended and without any information or options. His too good arrogant attitude makes you feel as if you are wasting his time which is total bullshit. I can’t stand these kind of people who swear they are always right and you can’t tell them shit. Bottom line go somewhere else and get a second opinion unless you want to be treated like you don’t matter or like the Mr cool guy kind of attitude

After reading a lot of posts about Dr. Anthony, I had great concerns (partial nephrectomy). HOWEVER, I had a 3pm appt, arrived at 258pm. Was called at 305pm and I must tell you Dr Anthony is a wonderful, caring, concerned physician. He answered all our (my sister and I) questions, made us feel as though I was his main concern of the day. We did not feel rushed and certainly couldn’t tell if he was having a bad day. His staff were honest and so, so friendly…

Irresponsible is how I would describe Dr. Anthony in a word. Saw him for one of the simplest of producers, which he failed to perform correctly. He rushed the surgery which led to complications. After several months of «I don’t knows» and «wait and sees» I saw a competent urologist who immediately diagnosed the problem and prescribe correct treatment. Dr. Anthony’s delays in treatment and diagnosis, however, led to a deterioration of my condition and caused damage that I will suffer from for the rest of my life.
A few of the support staff are exceptional, but the rest are substandard and rude. If you must go to this practice (Genesis Urology) see another doctor and be prepared for ineptitude from staff at some point.

Dr. Anthony was great. My dad was diagnosed with Prostate cancer and Dr. Anthony performed robotic lap assisted prostatectomy. My dad is doing great and we could’nt be happier. Yes there was a wait to see Dr. Anthony but it was worth it.
My only complaint would be the staff. When you check in they don’t tell you he’s running behind or let you know when you will be seen. His Surgery scheduler is kind of ditsy. She messed up on our surgery time so we sat around waiting for 3 hours before my dad was even taken back for surgery when we could have slept in a little longer. When I called and left a message for her she never returned my call. Seems like there is no communication in the office.
Other than that Dr. Anthony was great

Dr. Anthony treated with me the respect and professionalism one would expect from a highly qualified and skilled surgeon. He performed a robotic laparoscopic partial nephrectomy to remove a mass on one of my kidneys. His calm demeanor and willingness to explain and take the time to listen to questions was very reassuring throughout the process. My surgery went well with no issues and I have nothing but the utmost respect for Dr. Anthony and his team. I would recommend him to any of my family or friends.

Got an hour to waste? Want an doctor who does not apologize for keeping you waiting and a staff who does not keep you updated as to why he is running so far behind. Want to wait there while 2 back office staff members promise to get back to you and don’t? Want to have a doctor who walks in the room with an attitude becasue he thinks you being just a little pissed off at waiting is unreasonable? Well, if you want all this and more see Dr. Anthony. Someone needs to remind the good doctor thaat MD does not stand for Medical Diety and just because we are retired does not mean we have all the time in the world. We missed an important appointment today because of this doctor’s failure to follow a schedule. We did not even get our goal accomplished at this appointment becasue we felt so rushed and he was not listening to what we had to say, although I have been in the medical field for 40 years. I will never return to this doctor and I am calling my insurance to lodge a complaint. Now I have to get another referral for another Urologist and wait even longer for my husband to get the care he needs. All because one doctor thinks his time is more important than mine.
