Specialties
Helping abused women, children, and animals.
History
Established in 2013.
Dear Olé’ Dad’s Safe Haven Monastery Inc. was created to help abused women, children, teens, and pets to live in a healthy abuse free community. We are purchasing 8 acres of land to build the Safe Haven Monastery. We will be building a community center first to offer free abuse recovery support groups for rape, sexual assault, physical abuse, and child abuse survivors. All support groups will be open to the public and free of charge. And all non-violent persons may attend free support groups on the monastery.
First we buy the land, then we add the community center and a guest house. We add solar and wind powers and till the land for planting. We will add farmer housing for low income abused women, children, and teens. And the homes will house and love it’s own rescue pets.
Meet the Manager
Budda C.
Manager
Budda is the mascot for «Dear Olé’ Dad’s Safe Haven Monastery Inc.» She is an older dog that was rescued when she was 8 years old. She had been at the San Diego Human Society for quite a while, she was beginning to get depressed. Then «Dear Olé’ Dad» and Renee went to find the oldest little doggie we could find, as Renee has to begin cancer treatment and she can’t pet sit in treatment.
Budda was in a pen with 4 other little dogs and when «Dear Olé’ Dad» asked who was the oldest, Budda push her way from the back to the front and wagged her tail. And since she was just dropped off along side the road, she had no name. «Dear Olé’ Dad» tried several names for her, but Budda choose Budda because she likes to have her belly rubbed. And if they say «Budda» they remember to rub her belly.
