Bank of America

Even though I’ve had some nice tellers here at Bank of America, they do not have great customer service. Their lines are long. Then when you finally get to a teller and ask a question about anything, they send you over to another teller. It can be frustrating when you just want a simple question answered. Not only that but it is extremely irritating when you call them and get an automated phone system. Sometime situations call for actually speaking to a teller. I also was given the information of a teller who said I could contact them if I ever had any questions, but when I emailed him, I got no response. Definitely the worst customer service.

This place just plain sucks. They tell you to wait in line for the handicap person then when your turn comes up they tell you to wait for another teller. What the blank. So all the people behind you have been helped and we are still waiting. And she is handicapped. Nice customer service. And again this is why I don’t bank here.

I guess if you have nothing to do and want to waste time, this is the bank to go to. Not enough tellers but I see at least 5 other workers just pretending to be busy. The tellers are nice but by the time you get to them; patience runs out. Don’t be rude to the tellers it’s not their fault.

Don’t be misled by the large parking lot and huge building, this location is constantly under staffed with over worked tellers.
I deposit here daily and have to wait between 5 and 20 min. The business kiosk has shorter lines but usually only one teller.
The staff are polite and nice, but seem tired and stressed.
I think BofA corporate needs to allocate a lot more labor for this branch.
Parking lot security is a nice plus!

The lines, the lines, the lines. I wrote lines more than there are tellers working there. The tellers are super nice and apologetic but if the manager doesn’t figure out the waiting situation, I don’t think I’ll come back.

I’ve never been to such a worthless bank. 30 people in line and 2 people working the counter. There excuse is this is just one of many of there options. This is bs because who wants to do all there banking online without ever talking to someone. I would never put my money I this place. Take your money to Wells Fargo where they have people who can help u.

Not sure why this place has such awful reviews but that is because my experience was different and to be honest I didn’t read a lot of the other reviews.
I needed some cash money because sometimes there are occasions when you need actual bills am I right? I pulled right in and walked up to the ATM and the guard outside was nice and didn’t even laugh when I figured out that the place had Drive Thru ATMS that I did not see and therefore got out of my car for no reason. Oh well.
Although I didn’t have to deal with anyone other than the guard I know that things can be slow in any bank. I guess I have just learned to accept this as a fact of life .
I’ll won’t judge this location on how I feel about large banks. After all no one is making me use bofa.

Worst customer service. Wow, I went in BA to make a quick deposit and their was only one person helping a big line of customer. When there was FOUR female’s tellers chatting away not even acknowledging the big line of people that need to be help. Really! I’m never going in this bank again.

My mother has had a checking & savings account with this Bank of America for 40 years. She is 97 years old and goes to the bank about every other week. She is treated disrespectfully and has to wait long after others who came in after her have left already before they will do her transactions. She is at the handicap window and could stay there forever before being waited on. Today the lady who tells people to stand in line, etc., whoever she is, a Bank of America employee was very rude and disrespectful to her about marking her place in line. She said if they waited on her sooner other people would complain. I am sure that other people would not complain and if they did they are being rude & disrespectful. My mother makes one simple transaction which does not take long. My mother never says anything but gets so tired of waiting. Someone in corporate needs to fire this lady and get someone in this bank to give some good customer service! I would not recommend this bank to anyone ever.

The «manager» Elizabeth is the most incompetent degenerate that I’ve ever dealt with. While she runs to hide in her office, where a teller told me she is all day, she can’t help her customers or teammates at all. Horrible operation and as a senior leader within the consumer industry myself, I’d terminate her immediately. NO VALUE here.

Worst bank I’ve ever been to. They have more than 20 counters but in all the dozens of times I’ve been here, I’ve never seen more than 3 of them occupied. It’s a Wednesday morning and there was a 20 minute line.
Separate from that, their customer service is abhorrent. I had a simple transaction to cash savings bonds, and they had to pull me out of line to «check something» for FORTY FIVE MINUTES. I used to cash these at Wells Fargo and it would take less than 5 minutes to cash them and leave.
DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS DRAGGED.

I am not surprised that the Huffington Posts lists Bank of America as one of the worst businesses. For one thing, the powers-​that-​be copied Walmart and decided to have greeters at the door. These people would jump on you and ask a bunch of questions which was really annoying when all I wanted to do was get to a teller to deposit a check. About a month and a half ago, I went to the branch to ask if I could get a cash advance on my credit cared. You’d have thought I’d asked for free money. I spoke to two different tellers and both of them gawked at me as if I were crazy. They acted as if I’d lost my mind. A friend later took me to Chase Bank down the street and the teller gladly gave me the advance. Today, I went back to B of A. Naturally, there was a long, slow line. The reasonable thing to do would be to put the greeter behind the counter to speed the line along, but all they do is have the greeter ask people in line what they are there for. This nice looking young Hispanic man was talking to the Mexican in Spanish at the front of the line. He went away for awhile, and when I saw him again, he was talking to another Mexican in Spanish at the end of the line. He never asked me or the other Caucasian lady in line if we needed any help. Bad form. I was furious and offended, particularly since I stood there and listened to a litany of Spanish for several minutes. This isn’t Meximerica yet. For those of you who want to call me a racist, go ahead. I have been the victim of racism numerous times in my own hometown and no one throws a fit about that. I don’t suffer fools and will not keep my mouth shut when I am treated unfairly. The teller had the nerve to ask if I had a savings account and I told him what B of A could do with their savings accounts. I then went down the street and Christian Diaz very politely helped me open a savings account with his bank. If a business is going to go for the Latino buying power, they had better at least keep the appearance that it still stands behind America because the rest of us have money too.

Hmm. Don’t see what the bad reviews are about. Everyone here has always been very helpful with me. Used customer service on the phone once when I needed to dispute a transaction from stupid virgin mobile (grr) and they explained that as soon as it was posted they could reverse it. Solved it myself before it posted so I had no further need for them. The only problem I have with BOA is the keep the change program. The guy who opened my account didn’t really explain it to me. Pretty much just seems to randomly transfer money from my checking to my savings. Other than that they’re top notch for me.

Worst customer service!!! Geeze Louise!!! Besides not posting deposits I make they have the longest lines always!!! And not to mention instead of helping the line some tellers just look at you?! I thought customers are your first priority?! Not here!!!

Can’t set up a simple checking account in less than 1.5 hrs. Crazy.

I had to stop on my way home from work because my battery was dead on my motorcycle and as a result it was stalling and running poorly. This was the closest Bank of America to me. I had never been in before and never will be back. I have had an account with Bank of America for 12 years, I have my mortgage through them, and I have my retirement savings with them. Anyways I went in and was TOLD by the people guarding the teller windows to use the ATM to make a deposit of my paycheck. I dont know any different, so I go outside and use the ATM. I put the check in, process the deposit it confirms my deposit and get my reciept. I look at the reciept there is a hold for 5 business days on the entire deposit. It was a payroll check from a bank of america account I just made my house payment, so this paycheck is basically all the money I had access to. The ATM didnt notify me prior to eating my check. SO me being stranded, I dont have enough money to buy a new battery and my bike is turned off. I went in, I explained to a lady what the problem was. She said ‘I cant help you, when you signed up for your account, you agreed to these terms and conditions.’ If the ATM had put on the screen there would be a hold I would have brought the check in and just cashed it because it is a bank of america check. She said again, ‘There is nothing I can do to help you, you just have to wait’. Excuse me? I am now 40 miles from home, I need a battery, I am about $ 20 shy of getting a new battery, you cant release anything? So I requested a manager. Mario Rasmussen came over to make the situation worse, he told me if I dont like the amount of time it takes to clear a check he would be more than happy to close my account for me and after that check clears in 5 business days corporate will issue me a check of the remaining balance in 2 – 3 weeks so I could expect 4 weeks to get my money. Really? Those are the first words out of your mouth? To a loyal customer? My banking needs pays your salary!!! Anyways stay away from this place! Bank of America obviously got enough money from our tax dollars, they dont need our business!!! Also stay away from Mario Rasmussen, this guy has the title of ‘Assistant Manager-​Admin, North San Diego Market’ He has probably been promoted by now.

This is the main branch in Escondido. This branch has 3 drive-​up tellers and 2 ATM on the outside of the bank. Bank representatives are cordially and polite and tend to do their jobs well. Haven’t had a missing $ 1.00 bill yet!

I am on disability and depend on Bank of America and their bank-​issued VISA card to access my disability funds. Today, Dec. 21 I found out my card had been hacked through no fault of mine. The funds were just released last night by State Disability. After speaking with several of the staff, then a manager, I was told they would issue a new card but it will take 10 DAYS!!! This, 2 days before Christmas. Thanks a lot Bank of America — way to go! Don’t deal with any Bank of America location and refuse to use the Disability or Unemployment VISA cards issued by them. Zero customer service.
