Large size store with many discounted items. It is pretty well set up but it is a little disorganized. I get the feeling some items are placed where they are because they got a bulk shipment and the space is large enough to stock it. Other then that, place is organized. It is a little hard to find some items as the aisles are not marked. It is cool to walk around and see what they have. Prices are really good.

Still a huge fan. This place has saved me a ton when it comes to greeting cards. They are individually wrapped, and if you’re like me, you probably buy cards last minute. I’ve found when they only cost a buck, I tend to buy some and stock them for future events. For a great place to get cards, and a ton of other stuff for a buck, give this a try!

This is the new location, further east than before. The interesting thing is that they will be opening up soon across the street from the old location, in the vacant Fresh & Easy Building. They got a monetary incentive because Walmart Market wanted their old location. The other new store is open in the former Old Navy next to the movie theater. The drawback is the parking lot. It is located on a very busy corner, Valley & Midway. Not easy to get in & out of, not very many parking spaces because of the many businesses that share the center. The store is more tightly packed, so it can be hard to navigate in a crowd. Don’t go Saturday morning unless you really want to feel like you’re at the DMV. The payoff is major brands like Pillsbury, Chobani, and Kelloggs at cheap prices. You won’t know what you will find, so be up for anything. Be willing to use it soon, because it may be near the pull date.

honestly i like going to the 99 cents store, but there was this one time. i had a bad experience i mean don’t get me wrong i can stand long lines, when theres alot of people and most of the check out places aren’t open, but this time there was alot of people and like one or two check stands were open, they were all yelling at this one girl who worked there. before i payed for everything, so i felt like it was a good time to be nice and i say to the girl your doing a «good job» just out of gratitude, you know what the grump did just look at me in a awkward hateful fashion, didnt say anything, didn’t even hand me my bags, she got called to office after that hmm, wonder why? i mean if your gonna hate your job that much just quit, i mean theres people out there who would love to even have a job like theirs and would put in 100 percent

99 cent store is one of the best places to get great deals. But… Some of the brand name products are defects. These are the products that were rejected off the processing line and are sold to 99 cent stores. Is there anything wrong with these products? In most cases no, In some cases you need to weigh the defects against the low price. Items that I’ve seen that have the worst defects. –Bagged french fries(Picture on brand name package are long pretty looking fires). actual fries may be fry rubble(the broken bits, mutants, three or four fries stuck together). — Ice cream — Normal ice cream has product(fudge swirl for example) evenly distributed throughout the tub. 99 cent version has a large glob of fudge on one end of tub. Some manufactures are now printing warning labels notifying the consumer that the product did not meet their quality standards. I wish more did this. 99 cent store is a great place(Veggies and bread), but be aware that some of the packaged items might not have meet quality standards. If you get something messed up, just bring it in for a refund. TAKE A PICTURE and post it on Unilocal first.
