The Golden Pheasant Inn offers the freshest ingredients sourced from local producers. Our Onion Soup, Duck Burger, Fresh Oysters, Locally Sourced Salads, Mussels and Roasted Duck Entrées are customer favorites. Diners can enjoy a view of the river in our solarium or relax by fire in our historic fieldstone dining room. A full restoration of the Inn was completed in 2012.
For private events, our lovely garden offers views of both the Delaware River and Canal and is a gorgeous spot for a wedding or other event. From an intimate gathering to a group of up to 100 people, we take great pride in customizing to suit your tastes, budget and dietary preferences.
The Inn boasts four tastefully decorated and recently restored guest rooms with private baths, river views and luxury amenities. We are members of Select Registry.
If you are looking for a special place to enjoy a romantic dinner, spend a weekend in the country or host a private event, the Golden Pheasant Inn is the ideal setting.
History
Established in 1811.
Perfect for a relaxed country meal, a weekend getaway or a glass of wine by the fire, it is hard to imagine a more picturesque setting. The atmosphere is magical with exposed stone walls, beamed ceilings and the beautiful Bucks County countryside all around. Located between the Delaware River and Canal in a historic fieldstone Inn, we are the longest continuously operating restaurant/hotel along the Canal and recognized on the National Registry of Historic Places. We are only 1.5 hours from New York City or Philadelphia, and only 20 minutes north of New Hope, PA. The Inn has been family-owned and operated for over 26 years. Chefs Blake Faure and Jon Ramsay are passionate about bringing the very best local food sources to our guests. The emphasis is on fresh, natural, local ingredients, with a menu that changes seasonally. See our website to get a feel for the quality of the ingredients that we proudly bring to the table. We look forward to welcoming you to the Golden Pheasant Inn!
