Fancy Cuts F.C. Salon

I have been in here on multiple occasions for: hair dye, highlights, haircut, trim, and eyebrow wax. Every time I’ve been pleased with the friendliness of the stylist/​waxer and they’ve done a more than adequate job. The price is definitely right, just $ 24 for a haircut (even when my hair was long, thick, and wavy) and they do a much better job than Bangs down the street. The eyebrow waxers (I’m not sure if there’s an actual term for that) have always been very understanding of the fact that I am a gigantic wuss and a flincher.
The big downside here is that despite «walk-​ins welcome» plastered across their door in big letters, I have never actually been able to walk in and be seen. I don’t think they keep enough people in the salon to handle more than listed appointments, or at least there have never been more than two or three people in the place when I’ve gone (usually after work).
Also, they really need a website. I was told that the owner doesn’t want one because he’s worried people will say bad things about the business, but they’re good enough that it seems to be unfounded paranoia. It is maddeningly frustrating to try to find the phone number to call for an appointment, and practically have to dig out the yellow pages to get it.
