Exploring Minds Academy is a private early learning program for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. We also include a Private Kindergarten program as well as Kindergarten enrichment taught by a Colorado Certified Teacher. In addition, we provide a program for children K — 4^th grade that offers Before & After care as well as a fun-​filled, field trip rich Camp during School closures, Summer, Winter and Spring Breaks.

History

Established in 2008.

Exploring Minds Academy was established in 2008 as a high quality early learning program. Our commitment is to ensure that our children are ready for kindergarten and we know from proven research that this starts with a team of educated and nurturing teachers.

Meet the Business Owner

Pamela P.

Business Owner

Pamela is the owner and has been in early education since 1978 when she started as a Kindergarten Teacher in the Kansas City KS public schools. She opened her first private preschool in 1985 after she had her 3^rd child and could not find quality early learning for her girls who were all under 5 years at the time.

She sold her centers in 1992 to move to Colorado with her family. In 1997 she joined Seven Oaks Academy and became an equity partner in 2000 until 2005 when all centers were sold to Bright Horizons Family Solutions. She was offered the opportunity to become a partner in Exploring Minds Academy in 2008. She has her in BA Elem Ed/​Spanish and a Masters in Ed, Diverse Learner. She is the mother of 4 grown children and grandmother of 10 wonderful grandchildren. She lives in Erie and loves that she can work and play in the same community.
