Meet the Business Owner

Michael K.

Business Owner

Michael is the owner of Big Bend Agricultural Appraisals. He founded BBAA in 1994 and as manager and a state certified general real estate appraiser continues to produce the highest quality valuation services and provide expertise in the real estate field.

Prior to creating BBAA, Mike was a general appraiser for Farm Credit Services, which is the Northwest’s leading agricultural lender and crop insurance provider. Preceding FCS, Mike was an appraiser for Grand Count Washington where he was responsible for all land appraisals. Previous to working for Grand County, he spent four years managing Sun Basin Farms, a mid-​sized farming and dairy operation in central Washington State.

Mike holds a degree in Real Estate and Land Development from Eastern Washington University and is an Accredited Rural Appraiser with the American Society of Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers.
