My old boss recommended this place to me. It a real whole in the wall near the railroad tracks from the outside. However, when you walk inside, it is an experience to enjoy again and again. Friendly and attentive staff seated us right away and tempt you with wonderful homemade muffins to go with your breakfast. They serve breakfast up until 2 pm. Since, I am a late riser, YOU can ‘t go wrong here. Food is delicious made to order and the portions are huge. Only down thing is they’re closed Mondays.

My daughter asked to visit this eating establishment. Staff very attentive and polite. Even at 10:00 still pretty busy in this small town. Menu pretty big, I decided to order the corned beef and hash with eggs over medium, comes with hash browns and a muffin. I decided to go with blueberry. Food came very quick and the ½ order is huge. I ate a small corner on my plate left with take out. Coffee kept coming, which is nice not up have to ask. My corned beef hash and eggs(over medium) eggs were indeed over medium! Hash was tasty lots of onions. Ordered a side of gravy to help it slide down, very tasty gravy too. Not sure if I’ll be back since I live in Federal Way, a bit of a drive. Liked the staff, the food! Recommend.

Love this place! Generous portions and their cinnamon muffins are to die for. Honestly. I could eat one every day if my waistline would allow it.

If your into messy food, this is the place for you. I Ordered«Frank’s special» omelette. The only non pork option besides«veggie». The don’t make it in a scramble(what their known for) which seems fairly easy to do. HUGE portions I say just get the half size(aka normal size) because full size is for a grizzly bear. The«hash browns» are a mix of diced, shredded, & scalloped potatoes not to flavorful if you ask me. I probably won’t return, but it seems to be a local favorite. Oh & meals come with a muffin cinnamon or berry. I say go with berry, cinnamon is very strong.

Honestly the food was bland and terrible. Yes the portions were huge but I couldn’t even finish a half order. Not a fan!

The chintzy décor and service is great at The Kettle! The food is a little hit and miss with plenty of gut bombs under blankets of cold, shredded cheddar, but If you order carefully, you’ll be pleased. The omelets and scrambles are a safe bet, have good choices for fillings, prepared well, and won’t leave you feeling like you need to be close to a bathroom for the remainder of the day. Portions are obnoxiously large, too. I made the mistake of ordering biscuits and gravy with bacon, thinking it would be a traditional sausage gravy with bacon on the side, but it was actually plain gravy with piled with bits of bacon and a blanked of cold cheese. Basic egg & meat combos have been well cooked and the warm muffins are to die for!

Brilliant breakfast! I got a scramble that fed me for about 3 meals. The food came extremely quickly. The best part was definitely the muffin. DONOTPASSUPTHEMUFFINS!!! They are specifically a breakfast/brunch place so they open early and are closed by 2pm. Sunday’s are also only breakfast. One note on the décor: I am curious on how many pigs you can find, especially in the main entrance! Remember the muffins!

One of the best scrambled eggs I’ve had for breakfast. Be aware of quantity though. It’s also the biggest breakfast I’ve had. Very friendly people.

This place is amazing. I have been talking about and craving muffins for two days, and just happened to walk in here where they serve fresh hot muffins with your meal! Also, it was SO fast. We sat down, ordered, I went to the bathroom, and I came back and my food was already at the table. I had a GIGANTIC veggie scramble(we should have split it). It was delicious. This place was a total rescue when I was getting cranky and hangry on the way out to a hike. Thank you!

Good food but not such great service if you arrive after 1:00. They close at 2:00. I was treated poorly and then we were rushed to pay. They were cleaning and bumping my chair while I was trying to eat.

If you like cold floppy bacon, gravy from a can, old potatoes and sub par waffles the kettle is the place for you. When I sent my cold floppy bacon back for new bacon the waiter returned with a charred yet still floppy replacement. My boyfriend ordered biscuits and gravy, and he’s sure nothing in that plate was homemade. I came to meet my parents for breakfast so I had to suck it up and eat it to keep from offending my dad. Had I been on my own I would have sent that disgusting breakfast back and went elsewhere. I must note that the waitstaff was friendly and accommodating.

This place sets the standard for service. Their food is great, and prices are reasonable, but the main reason I come back is the service. You’re greeted when you come in, waitress is at the table as soon as you’re seated and checks in on you regularly. Food comes very quickly, especially considering how busy it always is. This place should run a training camp on how to run a restaurant.

Our new breakfast place. I went there today by myself and I loved the atmosphere! They were just getting over a busy rush when I came in. I got a half order scramble! It was really good and huge. I loved they blueberry muffin very tasty. I can’t wait to take my husband here to try it out. My water was kept full and I was checked on multiple times throughout my meal. Great service !

Hands down the best place to eat! Everything is made to perfection, homemade muffins are SOOO good. Service is always fantastic. No matter what you get the food is amazing. Like everyone else says too, if you plan on getting the scramble be prepared to share or take at least half of it home for later, they are huge, but so good! If you’re considering a stop here, stop reading and start getting your rear in gear and get there… you won’t regret it.

It’s good. Massive mounds of food. I got the veggie scramble and it was so huge I had to take it home! The food seems to be almost southern style, and most orders come with these massive muffins that are pretty amazing. I’d take friends here after a night of heavy debauchery.

I was in town visiting family and friends(Seattle born and raised) and my Sister wanted to meet up at this place for breakfast. Holy cow! The food was delicious and you better come hungry! The place is small and can get quite packed with lines out the door waiting to be called for a seat. The staff manages the chaos quite well and are still incredibly courteous. Our breakfast came with a bunch of delicious full sized muffins that were still warm from the oven. I can’t recall all of the flavors but they were a warm and delicious treat while we waited. The kids loved them and there was still plenty left. Remember what I said about coming hungry. Most of us ordered their famous skillets, I ordered the meat lovers with jalapeño. The ½ order of the meat lovers skillet was about $ 11 and the full order I believe was only a $ or two more. I ordered the ½ at the recommendation of my sister. I was hungry as could be and thought she was crazy but I heeded her advice. The food came out in a respectable time frame given the chaos and the portion sizes. Wow… was I ever glad I ordered the ½ size. I finished nearly ¾’s of the skillet but I was stuffed to the gills. A ½ order is enough to feed most couples and I couldn’t imagine a full order. The food came out hot and was absolutely delicious and covered in still melting cheese. Writing this review while I am hungry does not help… I suppose my ONLY complaint was that they did not give a Military Discount. This would NOT stop me from going there in the future. If only I didn’t live all the way out here in Wisconsin now… This place is a MUSTGO for breakfast if you are incredibly hungry… great hangover food!

An Enumclaw essential. Great laid back environment, great for getting together with friends. Even better food! The portions here are HUGE, so make sure you bring your appetite. The half-orders are doable, but I’ve never even gotten close to finishing a full order(to go box is a necessity). The scrambles are the classic thing to order, but everything else is pretty tasty too! It can be pretty busy on the weekends, but the wait doesn’t tend to be too bad. Also, prices are very reasonable, you definitely get great value here!

Hometown diners are my favorite. Even if the food is hit or miss this place is special just because of the customer service. Portions here are large, huge, humongous. I split a dish with someone and still only managed to eat half of my plate. The blue berry muffin was absolutely delicious, nice and fresh out of the tin. I would say besides the muffins my favorite part of the experience was how friendly our waitress was. Prices are reasonable and fair. This place gets busy so get their early or be prepared to wait. Enjoy!
