I have been here twice. The first time was at lunch time and there was more food(ribs) than I could eat for about $ 15. Came in a month later and they now charge $ 14 for 4 ribs. Yes that’s $ 14 for 4 ribs. Wife’s rib sandwich first came out refrigerator cold and looked like pulled pork, we sent it back and got warm hard meat chunks on a bun. I had high hopes for this place.

Heard a few good reviews from co workers and decided to try it out. Wasn’t as good as they said it would be. The portions are small so don’t expect much. But for what it’s worth the place was clean & staff was very friendly

Fantastic! So glad we gave Richie’s a try! From the look of the non-descript building, you would never guess the eclectic, cozy atmosphere inside. And the food! I could hardly get the ribs up to my mouth without them falling apart, they were so tender. Amazing, especially with the sweet bbq sauce. If you like things a little hotter, be sure to ask for the«hot» sauce which they keep tucked away in the kitchen. Sides were also all delicious and gobbled up by my kids, husband, and myself. To top it all off, each meal includes a slice of homemade pound cake. Service was super friendly and attentive, and we even got a visit from Richie himself who filled us in on all they have to offer, including delivery and catering. An extra bonus is that they’re open on Sundays for a wonderful after church lunch. We will definitely be back!

Visiting from Seattle area to watch our 2 grandchildren while parents slip away for a break– drove by Richie’s and decided to take a shot in the dark! Been eating at lots of «mom & pop» and«big chain» bbq all over Alabama & Tennessee for the last 7 years, and Richie’s MORE than exceeded our expectations. Mmmm! Both kiddos gobbled up their pulled pork and mac ‘n cheese plates that also came with a wrapped piece of homemade pound cake. My pork was not only smoked just perfectly, but also was tender and meaty, accompanied by a very tasty double side of crunchy coleslaw, a slice of bread, and the wrapped pound cake. My husband chowed down his pork sandwich and then snitched some of my coleslaw, and a few lingering bits of pork from the kiddo’s plates. The service was very friendly, and seemed genuinely appreciated; even filling us in on their catering, delivery, recommendations, and their«Sunday special» which sells out super fast. Very clean, and creative, welcoming décor. Had both mild and sweet sauces on table of which we almost emptied the sweet sauce; it was fabulous. If there had been a hot sauce which my hubby wanted, my rating would have been definately at least 5 ½!!!

My daughter’s friend and former roommate at West Point has had the pleasure of dining at Richie’s a few times since being stationed in the area. She says they have been treated wonderfully every time they have gone and that the food has been great. Support those who support the dedicated young men and women who defend us. Hooah!!!

Decent smoked pork plate, kinda bland sides, very friendly owner. They are trying hard so once they get going it will probably be really good. Nice selection of homemade sauces including a mustard based sauce and one with habanero. Lots of cool memorabilia.

Awesome new BBQ place!!! Bar-b-que is delicious. Great portions with fast and friendly service! Loaded potato was huge. Very reasonable prices as well.
