What a great find! I can’t wait for spring so these ladies can start selling fresh herbs and produce along with all of the terrific items they already carry. I was delighted to find such a huge array of products. The ladies are a wealth of knowledge and if they don’t have something you are looking for(which is hard to imagine) they will happily get it for you. Don’t hesitate to ask questions!! They are SO happy to answer them. Ms Asuko reminded me that they have Sat morning outdoor market with fresh herbs and produce every Saturday from 8:30am to 8:30 pm. I love this shop!!!

I don’t know how long this hidden gem has been here. I used to pass by it wondering what in the world is it. Maybe someone lived there because the place looks like a house. One day while passing it I saw the sign outside about crawfish so I thought I’d adventure around and see what I can find. Well I was right… It was a house but it was converted into a store. So it’s a Storehouse or Housestore? I didn’t find any crawfish because it was on a order basis but eventually ordered it 3 – 4 months ago when it was in season and they came through for me. It was great price was pretty fair and I didn’t have to make the drive out far. When I walked inside looking for crawfish the first time I went there I notice no one was around so I called the number on the gate and a Japanese lady popped out of no where and was there helping me. As I walked into the store(Sign says take off your shoes) Which is normal Asian custom to do so. I didn’t think twice about it because I’m Asian but later when I left and said to myself wow that was the first time I ever had to do that in a market. The store is filled with a bunch of Asian stuff and I was able to find things I been looking for which the other Korean Markets didn’t have. I even found these red peppers that nooooo one had. The owner walked me through her garden which was just filled with amazing things. She does trips up to Atlanta and picks up all sorts of goods that she doesn’t grow in her garden and along with seafood. So if you are looking for fresh blue crabs, live lobsters, clams, and a variety of fish this is best in town. They just installed a credit card machine so they can swipe your card but I really think the Locals don’t really talk about this place because it’s really a quiet homey store. The owner will get you anything you want from an Oriental store if she doesn’t have it in her own. I’ve experience this first hand. I’ll add some pictures of my experience if your looking for an Asian store this is it I been to all of the ones around FT Rucker and this one wins in my book. A couple of last min tips Show up on Saturday Mornings around 8AM is when she is back from the trip and has a lot of fresh produce and seafood. This is the only day she has it and sells out usally by the end of the day.
