Young’s Auto Body & Collision

My brand new Subaru was badly damaged in two hail storms. Young’s did an amazing job. The vehicle looks brand new again; you can’t even tell there were hail dents. The owner and employees were all wonderful to deal with. I highly recommend Young’s Auto Body. I couldn’t be more pleased with their work and the way they do business.

I brought my car to my Progressive office, after it was in a hit and run. First time doing this, Progressive handled all of the details and sent my car to Young’s…it was supposed to take 2+ weeks to fix but they finished in 10 days, the body work is perfect, I was warned there might be color differences since a door was replaced and another door was repaired. I didn’t notice any differences at all, looks brand new. I don’t know what the folks who work there are like, and if it’s any different if you don’t go through your insurance company. But based on the results, I’d use them again. Also, aside from the repair work, they did a great job cleaning out my car, it doesn’t look like my dog lives in it anymore… don’t know how they got the fur out, I haven’t been able to, but thanks to them for doing it!

Needed my entire Tahoe painted and dings removed all over. They did an excellent job… my Tahoe looks brand new… very professional job. I also like that afterwards they detailed my vehicle… that added touch of care was appreciated.
I also had my dinged-​up front bumper replaced… it too looks brand new now.
Ron was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Would I recommend this place to a friend… yes!

I’m updating this review solely based on the actions of the owners. The day after I posted my prevous review one of the owners got in contact with me and expressed her sincerce apology and concern for the situation. Her actions showed me that the owners take an active role in the business and that she would take the neccessary actions to ensure that this situation would not happen again. It’s unfotunate that the behavior of one employee can ruin the experience for a customer, but in this case I was shown that the business owners really do care.

Great job! My Jeep had hail damage and Young’s Body Shop is guaranteed by Liberty Mutual. They communicated the status of the repairs and the Jeep looks good. Highly recommended.

I have had a lot of bad luck with my vehicles over the past two years. Lots of hail damage and have been victim to two car accidents. Each time taking my vehicles to Young’s and they have never let me down. Their quality of work is far beyond anything I would have expected.
They have been nothing short of amazing, testifying/​successfully winning two lawsuits against the all mighty insurance companies.

Our car was sideswiped by a city bus on while parked Colfax downtown the day before we were heading out of town for a road trip. The whole driver side was caved in and the car wasn’t in any shape for a road trip. We contacted three auto body repair shops recommended by our insurance provider. Needless to say we were under the gun and under some stress to get the car dealt with and get out of town.
We chose to go with Young’s Auto Body after my wife met with Chris. She immediately felt at ease, he was professional, understanding and super helpful. I felt the same after talking to him briefly on the phone.
We could not have made a better choice. Chris stayed in constant communication with us the whole time we were gone, he sent photos of the progress and kept us informed of the progress. He was great and so was everyone else we dealt with. Our car came out awesome, you can’t tell there was scratch. They did a great job. I highly recommend Youngs.

I just wanted to inform everyone that Youngs auto body absolutely took care of everything I needed, especially being a woman and presented with this situation. They treated the incident with the upmost care and respect. They went above and beyond what they needed to do and I will now write a very positive review.

We have had several claims repaired at Young’s. Our most recent a few months ago was almost a complete total on the vehicle. Through all of the repairs the staff gave us updates weekly to inform us of any changes in the insurance estimate. I always felt like they were working for us the customer and guiding us through this whole process.
In the end, the vehicle is better than brand new. We would highly recommend Young’s!

After a fender bender that we had to pay for out of pocket, I got 4 estimates on the ’02 Honda. Young’s was the most responsive and easiest to work with from the beginning, and also had the lowest priced quote among the 4. We decided on Young’s, and dropping it off there in the morning they were done by lunch, when other shops estimated 2 – 4 days. The work was done very well, and they were friendly and fair with me throughout the process.
I would definitely go back, and will recommend them to my friends.

Young’s runs it’s business off the tablescraps from insurance claims. They are not working for the customer, they are working for the insurance company. I was hit by an insurance holder of Liberty Mutual and was directed by them to go to Young’s. During the estimate, I was told by Young’s that they didn’t want to open the hood of the car incase it wouldn’t close again, so therefore they couldn’t inspect any possible damage to the frame/​engine. Then they told me to wait a day of two for the repair work to be approved and once this happened they would be able to pop the hood and estimate the inside damage. Meanwhile, I received a check from Liberty Mutual for the estimate based on only the damage to the outside– almost as if they were hoping that i would take the money and be satisfied. Since the accident, my engine has been wretching and sounds like it’s about to die. I popped the trunk myself and observed crimping in the frame, no problems getting it shut whatsoever. I called Young’s this morning and they said that at the time of the estimate I told them to not pop the hood incase it wouldn’t close– This is a flat out lie. Now they say they won’t look at it unless I commit to having it repaired through them and then they will assess the true damage to report to Liberty Mutual. Totally manipulative, dishonest and a waste of my time, as I will have to take it somewhere else now and start all over again.

Progressive used Young’s Auto Body & Collision to do some repair work on my car after one of their customer’s rear ended me. When I picked up my car from the Progressive service, I noticed that personal items had been stolen from my vehicle. While the items had a low dollar value, I was disappointed that I had to deal with petty theft on top of dealing with the hassle of having my car repaired after someone rear ended me.
Totally unprofessional and disappointing.
