This was a unique concept for me to pick Asian food for a bowl. It was very good for a cheap price. I visited here twice in my visit here on business.

On the fan. The food is good and healthy. I like everything about this place in which they had some in Seattle. I recommend the yakitori chicken breast and vegetables. I only wish that there wasn’t as much rice putting mine.

This is my go to place ever time I work at my Denver office. As a guy lives on the road it’s hard to find a place where I can eat healthy and that is this good. The build your own bowl is perfect all fresh ingredients and only what you like with no compromise!

Great idea, poor execution. This reminded me of those ready grab noodle bowls from the grocery section. Vegetables weren’t abundant, a goopy green curry sauce over plain udon noodles was not very appetizing. The chicken looked like actual cut chicken breast, I’ll give them that.

I ordered ahi tuna bowl to go. But there was no wasabi and ginger. Also the portion was too small.

I don’t understand why they are taxes are so much, so I just go to the chester location instead. 2 $ for taxes on a 6 $ bowl is not right.

Always a good meal. Minus 4 stars for allowing customers to smoke on the patio. Spicyaki sauce is to die for. Udon noodles are the shiznit. Now just do something about the nasty ass people you allow to smoke in the outside dining area. We were 12 tables away and it was nauseating.

Great spot. Awesome large patio to enjoy lunch on a sunny day. Staff is always nice and working hard. One of my regular places to hit for lunch.

I went in with my girlfriend and got the steak bowl with brown rice mixed veggies and spicy-aci sauce. I have to say that the staff was awesome making us fresh steak so we didn’t have to eat what had been sitting under the heat lamp for an hour. The rice and veggies though I was kinda disappointed in a little bland and under cooked for my liking. I gave it 3 stars pretty much for the staff trying to make us the best product. Not sure when I will be back but I will consider it sooner than later just because you have good people working there.

This place is just around the corner from us so we have gone here frequently having been big fans of Tokyo Joes. This location needs to step it up as it is just getting to be awful. I’ve had sushi completely missing spicy sauce or other ingredients, soup either too much miso or once had only one piece of tofu in the whole bowl. They need to step up on their consistency. As of now, we stopped going.

I had lunch here the other day and the food was good along with a courteous staff. The prices are good and the place is always well kept. It is a great place to catch a good lunch that won’t break your wallet.

I hate to say it but this place is a real rip off I ordered the«big bowl» Teriyaki Chicken. After delivering 3 incorrect orders, I received mine. One thigh piece that was greasy and cold. I have a feeling it was cooked in Texas and sent to Colorado in a plastic bag and microwaved. For all this. It set me back 10 bucks. Never coming back

Last night my husband and I were in with our son for a quick bite to eat. We have been here multiple times at multiple different locations. First I want to say that the new surf & turf sushi roll is really good! But 2nd I need to say that I ordered a 2 piece maguro. Which is rice with tuna on top. Well I picked up the tuna and laying between it and the rice was a nicely patted down long brown HAIR!!! My appetite was lost. I was done. My husband brought it up to the staff to bring it to their attention and they said«oh. OK.» ??? That’s it??? You put a hair in my food and have nothing to say other then oh OK? No ‘I’m sorry’ No ‘would you like something else?’?? No «Let me refund you» NOTHING! Needless to say I will not be going back to that location. Not only for the nasty hair in my food but the unacceptable customer services that came along with it!

Another work week traveling for Uncle Sam, and another lunch at a new place. Tokyo Joe’s is a chain in/around Denver, and I saw at least two of them close to my work location. We were swayed to try it by local co-workers, and I gotta say it was NOT bad for casual fast-food style Asian. They offer bowls with rice, noodles, and all the add-ins. Made-to-order sushi rolls(though the menu is limited to the standard California Roll, spicy tuna, etc.). They also have soups, and salads. — I was very impressed by the selection of infused teas. — I got a made to order brown rice and chicken bowl with a peanut sauce, it was pretty good. — I also got a miso soup, but it was pretty flavorless and the broth was nuclear hot to where it vaporized any green onions, miso paste, or tofu… honestly it was not edible. — The location had a crazy parking lot… hard to get in an out, lots going on there. — Prices were pretty casual lunch cheap too. I think I would go again… try something else. ENJOY!

This location is great, when it’s not busy. We haven’t found consistency in how well the chicken in particular is prepared, I guess we need to ask for well done.

Not too shabby. I dropped into this particular Joe’s to grab a quick, light dinner. I think I may have come here several years back, but if so, I seem to have forgotten how large this particular location is. Against my better judgment, I went with the made order sushi. I had the Joe’s Roll(grilled shrimp, avocado, cream cheese, and cucumber). The rolling may have been a bit sloppy, but the flavors were not bad at all. The price was pretty reasonable as well. All in all, this sushi, with glass of water, made for a an acceptable and relatively fast dinner.

I’m addicted to their Yakitori sauce, I’d put it on everything I consume if I could. The downside of this place is that it can smell like dirty dishwater if you go in right after they open. Also, the staff is rude most times. I could offer my opinion of why that us, but I’ll refrain. Overall, the food is good, priced right and quick. Perfect for lunch or dinner on the go.

It was a Friday, during Lent, and I was in no mood to go buy stuff to make dinner. So rather than getting a nice greasy fish sandwich from a drive-thru, I decided to give Tokyo Joe’s a try since they have a lot of seafood options. Question: why don’t I eat here more often?! The food was great, service very friendly and helpful, and the prices are amazing for some actually good, quality fast food seafood. It was $ 5.85+tax for my regular-sized Kihei salad, which has a small fillet of perfectly seasoned and cooked mahi mahi, mangoes, avocados, great veggies, wonton strips, macadamia nuts, and a honey mango dressing — for under 500 calories. Yeah, you read that right… and it was incredibly tasty too. See fast food industry, healthy but creative and tasty can be done quickly. I probably could have done the big-size, as I wasn’t completely full at the end of my salad, but it was still a pretty healthy size overall. Would have liked a little more fish, but hey, it’s under $ 6! The other options on the menu looked equally as good and reasonably priced. Thus I signed up for their Addict club, which nets you some nice deals on certain days of each month. This particular location was pretty empty during the dinner hour, so if you like to go to the Park Meadows location(which is probably busier and harder to get to), check out this one just down the road. Yup, I think Tokyo Joe and I are going to be good friends.

My first experience with TJ’s and it was an OK experience. It was saturday afternoon about 3pm. Absolutely no one in there. Service was good, quick to take order. I was ordering out. Food came out reasonably quick, so thumbs up for that. I am giving it three stars to start out. It was just an average, ok experience. No major flaws, but also no stand-outs. One interesting thing was there was a very friendly(creepily so) guy hanging around the entrance. Wasn’t sure if he was an employee off work or if he was just a regular. Maybe I its my jaded east coast upbringing. Definitely will go back and try again.

I’ve eaten here several times over the past couple of months, and the food is always either way too salty from the sauce I have chosen, or tastes like I’m eating different colored chunks of cardboard. The service is okay, but seems to have some problems between take-out and dine-in– every time I say dine in, they get confused and try to make it a take out order. Not a big deal, but… how hard is it? I’ve eaten at other Tokyo Joe’s and the food just doesn’t do anything for me.
