I have purchased several pieces of custom furniture here. I love so much what we bought and get compliments from everyone who sees these pieces. Very reasonable prices and one of a kind items. I recommend this store to everyone who is looking for unique, quality furniture… and now that they have a shared space with a number of other artists and«renew», it is an even more amazing and fun place to shop!!!

This is my «go-to» store whenever I need a new piece of furniture. I’ve bought a dresser, table, chairs & ottoman from here and couldn’t be happier with my purchases. Lots of reclaimed wood pieces and beautiful art from local artists… all at great prices, too. A fun store to check out.

I’m getting married in a few weeks, and neither me or my fiancé has lived in an unfurnished apartment before, so we’ve been badly needing a lot of furniture and décor. I was afraid I was going to have a hard time finding something to my taste for our new home, so I got really lucky to stumble across this place! The Blue Chair sells art and décor made by local artists – paintings, sculptures, pillows, etc – and they also refurbish old furniture in-house and made them look like new. Their style for the furniture they create is exactly to my taste, mostly classic lines, but they reupholster and paint them in fun, chic colors. I found a dining set I fell in love with on their Facebook page and lucked out on it being still available once I had the money to get it. A table and four chairs(which had been refinished and painted in two-toned brown colors), and a table runner and placemats that match the fabric on the chairs(blue and brown polka dots – SUPERCUTE), all for $ 140 total! That’s less than what I could’ve gotten at IKEA for a furniture set, and it’s MUCH better quality than an IKEA set, to boot! If you’re on the market for some new furniture, or want to find some art to decorate your home with, I can’t recommend The Blue Chair enough. I’ll probably be back for more décor for our new apartment – and once we upgrade our studio apartment to a one-bedroom you can bet I’ll be back to get more furniture, too.
