Our practice includes Sports and Nutritional medicine. We believe in giving our patients only the finest in services and products to help them get well as soon and as cheaply as possible, consistent with the condition. Each patient will be treated as a member of our own family.

History

Established in 1978.

Dr. Stephen Press opened his doors for professional practice in 1978, and, except for a period of 1985 – 1990 (when he was in a group practice also in Englewood) has been at 546 Broad Ave. ever since. Dr. Press has been a leader for the profession, worldwide; having founded the Fédération Internationale de Chiropratique du Sport (FICS), which is the World governing body for sports Chiropractic; the IAOCO​.org, which is the honorary society for Olympic Chiropractors and co-​founded WikiChiro​.org, the online Chiropractic Encyclopedia. In 1992, he was co-​opted as Chief Physician for the USSR’s Winter Olympic team in Albertville, and remains the only DC to have become a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. Fellow of the International College of Chiropractors, and most recently, was honored by the UK’s Royal College of Chiropractors by being made Fellow in the Faculty of Sport; the first non-​commonwealth Doctor to receive this high distinction.

Dr. Press holds a PhD in Sports Medicine from Moscow, and is an Internationally Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (ICSSP). He is one of two DC’s to have completed a post-​doctoral course in Bone and joint Disease at Johns-​Hopkins College of Medicine.
