History

Established in 2008.

Springs Automotive Group opened its doors in Colorado Springs in March of 2008. After making an immediate impact in the market place from great price and selection. As we grew, so did our customer base and we were looking to move into Denver. We had the opportunity to take over the old smart car dealership off of Broadway. We jumped at the opportunity to move into Denver and start helping the community right away. I have been in the auto business my entire life as my dad and grand father both ran dealerships in the past. I wanted to get away from the corporate life and rules that the franchise dealerships had to deal with. I have had a small lot on Broadway for over 10 years now and decided to do a joint venture with my business partner in Colorado Springs. So, I now know how you guys feel.
The 200 $ for referring someone is 100% a myth. I even followed up and she says“wow, you should have received it” She said it was going to be mailed out Friday when the person got back into the office… Fast forward a month and a half… nothing.
When we purchased the next 2 vehicles, we added a warranty the she felt best for us. I had to use it this week and warranty did not cover the work.
Long story short, DO NOT BUY FROM HERE, DO NOT GET DOOPED INTO THE EXTENDED WARRANTY! The sales team is always different and the management is related.
There are many places on Broadway that have vehicles… Shop them 1st. You are better off at a buy here pay here, they will do what they say.
Next stop in this smear campaign is Facebook, BBB and whichever news stations will listen to our story.

BUYER BEWARE: last week, I went in to look at a low-​priced car. It was a total junker that wouldn’t even start (bad sign, BTW = gimmick to get you in). Then, the dealer showed me a few other crappy cars and finally a pretty nice 1999 Honda Civic at $ 5.6k, which was a bit out of my budget, but doable. Luckily, the financing had some hang-​ups and we had to wait… In the meantime, I did a lot of research on the car. It’s worth about $ 3.5k (i.e. they have it marked up +$ 2k, which is almost twice the value it’s worth). When they called back about the financing, I explained they over-​priced the car and after some haggling, their best price was the highest end of Kelly Blue Book + some maintenance and cleaning + the dealer fee (which says in-​house that it’s about maintenance and cleaning fees!!!) + tax.
So, I’d walk out of there with a $ 5k car worth $ 3.5k. Never mind the fact they’d already tried to rip me off or that they were doing it again. I’d recommend looking ANYWHERE but here as the other dealers I’ve called about cheaper cars (like the original junker I looked at) have told me over the phone about their issues and been HONEST about the cars. Especially, because a week later, SAG still has that 99 Honda Civic for 5.6k and a more run down version of the same car in Colorado Springs for, guess, $ 5.6k. They clearly overprice ALL their cars, which is ridiculous when we all know they didn’t pay over $ 600 for that Civic as a trade in.

Bought from Brain was treated very well first then bought the car without radio codes had to go in and get the code, plus the car didn’t lock it took 3 months to get the lock, I stop payment on half of the deposit but gave them a chance to do right and nothing but the run around they scratched the car deep scratch and I told them about it oh sorry but the worst is that I paid $ 450.00 for locks and still haven’t had them put in .Norm Karsh Brains dad would be shocked on how the family treats people.

This place has horrible customer service they approved me for a loan let me leave with the car called me back later to tell me my loan was not approved they make a bunch of empty promises they were going to fix scratches on my car then later told me it wasn’t part of the agreement they will say anything to close the deal and they’re very bad at doing what they say they are shysters

My girlfriend and I just purchased a vehicle from Springs Automotive in Englewood and we had a great experience. We worked with DJ who was neither pushy nor intimidating, but very personable and helpful. Negotiations were not time-​consuming, and we ultimately walked off the lot with a great car and agreeable terms. We would consider purchasing another vehicle in the future from them in the future.

I went to buy a car and they lied about fixing problems with the warranty that came with the car. They haven’t done anything about it!! They have a horrible customer service. DO NOT PURCHASE a car from these guys. They are complete liars and a scam artists !!! Now we are stuck with a car and with its problems!

I made an appointment with SAG with the intention to buy my desired vehicle if the price was right. Dave was very helpful throughout the entire car buying process.
My concerns were addressed by owner Brian and both Dave and Brian were very accommodating to my requests. I spoke with DJ on the phone and was pleased with his frequent communication of updates.
