Rallye Coach Works

My 1968 Camaro SS was totaled back in 2012. Tony helped me deal with the insurance claims adjuster, getting a full settlement, and also sourcing a replacement original GM body. The repairs did take longer than I had hoped but in their defense, Rallye Coachworks had moved locations, a majority of their work is in collision refinishing on insurance claims, and it was a full paint job.
The paint work was professionally done, they have a paint booth, clean shop, with friendly workers. It is one of the best paint jobs I have ever seen, show quality. The panels and door gaps were aligned to perfection, and they even fixed some issues in panel alignment the previous painter had messed up. Tony kept me updated throughout the build and was always available when I visited from out of town. There was some damage done in transport (I live in Grand Junction) and storage. Tony reimbursed me the full amount to get it fixed. He is trustworthy and one of the only few metal fabricators we have in the state. I’d definitely do business with them again and recommend them to the classic or collector car clients.

I was bumped from behind on a Friday evening. Contacted Rallye Coach on Monday. They were able to get my car in on Tuesday and were able to replace the bumper and get it painted to match as perfectly as I imagined and had my car back on Friday. Jonathan was most helpful in keeping me informed of the process and getting everything done in a timely manner.

Took my car here in July of 15′ for hail damage.
After 3 weeks I came to pick up my car. This was a fateful day where my dreams and hopes of picking up a newly finished car were shattered. I walk in and John tells me that he needs to re-​do some of the paperwork to reflect most recent changes. But can I please sign the back of the check the insurance provided (7K) this is before I even see the car. Because of my passivity I go ahead and sign the check.
I get out to the car, it’s not even been washed in the last couple days. I do a quick walk-​around and get in the car and take off. Not 5 minutes away, I notice a check engine light which had never been on before. I turn around and go back and speak with John again. He gets a mechanic to do some diagnostic and it spits out a few codes. He resets them and the light is off. The mechanic tells me that they have to move the cars around a bunch and that’s probably why the light is on. Also told me ‘the kid’ who took it to the car wash, which had to be well before my pick up, might have… then stops before finishing his sentence.
Because of the check engine light, we’re in the bay with the lights on. I notice there is still what looks to me, Hail damage. I ask John about it, he says that those are rock chips. And not covered, would take too much work to repair. At this point, I’m realizing that I have been duped by a company who just wants the money and doesn’t place value on customer satisfaction or repeat customers. Neither the owner, Tony, or Bill the original guy who referred me to this place were in.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. They may be nice but these guys cannot execute quality body work… at least in my case. And if you do say anything, it’s just a shoulder shrug ‘sorry’.
Overall a very poor experience that I’ll be paying for through insurance for years to come. Unsatisfactory hail repair, dirty car, and a check engine light when coming to pick up. Thank you Rallye Coach Works!

Tony and his team are miracle workers. My car was severely damaged by the hail storm this fall. Tony and Team replaced roof and hood plus did PDR work on remaining body panels. The paint work /​color match wash perfect. My car looks like new. I would recommend Rallye Coach Works to anyone who values true professional craftsmanship and perfection. Stop my their shop they have some pretty amazing collector cars being restored from the frame up. I am sure Tony would proudly show you around.
