The best poached eggs. I had poached eggs on toasted Croissant with fresh green & The delicious pickles, I cannot believe $ 6 for lunch. lovely Little Place,

Ordered from here for the first time today thanks to the Unilocal EAT App. Had the egg salad sandwich on pumpernickel bread. Very fresh! My coworker got the pastrami brisket poached croissant and it looked as delightful as it tasted.

POACHED is a spin-​off of Patisserie Florentine, that specializes it delectable croissant-​focused sandwiches that often incorporate poached eggs. Croissants + poached eggs = an unavoidable messy lunch experience with buttery flakes flying everywhere with each bite (not in a bad way!).
Please keep in mind that this location is solely a pick-​up/​to-​go joint (there are a few barstools near the door if you do want to «dine in»). They also carry similar items as Patisserie Florentine (ie: Salmon Baguettine) but at a lower price point! I’m sure you can understand my disappointment when I headed over to Poached to pick one up only to find out that they were closed (not sure why) and had to head over to Patisserie Florentine to get it, and ended up having to fork over a few more dollars for the same sandwich. boo.

Great service and awesome breakfast! Great spot to grab a fresh and quality. I’ve been there 3 times and enjoyed each time from another thing.

I ordered the Egg salad sandwich and the Quinoa salad-​WHAT A WASTE OF $ 25!!! The absolute worst salad and worst egg salad I have ever eaten. The egg salad had absolutely no taste whatsoever, while the quinoa salad was terrible and came with the WORST dressing. I have only given 0 – 2 reviews on Unilocal before, but I am so disappointed with this meal that I had to review. Very disappointed!!!

Local, friendly vibe for a fresh, tasty sandwich! Had the «Poached» sandwich — melted mozzarella cheese, tomato, avocado spread, poached eggs and hollandaise — and it was amazingly delicious. Friends had another poached sandwich and a pre-​made salad and both liked theirs as well. I work in the area and will definitely be back!

Try pouring hot water in their white paper cup provided. The water was dirty… The lady said it was because of the filter they used for coffee prior to hot water use. I have never seen hot water being so dirty from other places. I dont think I am going back to a place that seems to have to the cleaning issue.

Been here three times. Two of the poached egg sandwiches were amazing, the third was on a slightly stale croissant. I’ll overlook that as bad luck.
There are a lot of great looking sandwiches there, but I doubt I’ll ever have anything but the poached egg ones.

The takeout branch for Patisserie Florentine! Great little spot to grab some quick, quality food at a great price. I stepped in, grabbed a hearty salad and left in about two minutes. They have some seating right outside, which is nice if you want to enjoy the weather.
I’ve only been here once, but I’m excited for my next trip there! They’ve got a bunch of sandwiches and salads that I’d like to try.
Definitely recommend the place — if you have time to sit down pay a visit next door and indulge in the croissants and entrees of Patisserie Florentine!

I went there for a quick bite bc I love anything croissant! I picked prosciutto poached. It was very very good, fresh arugula, crispy prosciutto on toasted croissant topped with poached egg and hollandaise sauce. It was amazing except that the poached egg was a little overcooked. I mentioned that to the chef and I am sure assistant cooks will get better at it. After all, making poached eggs is very difficult
Other than that it was great. Fresh ingredients, quick service and cute looking place

HORRIBLE! I ordered a sandwich and they delivered a completely different one with all ingredients off. I called them back and the lady on the phone was really rude with an awful attitude and made it sound as if it’s my fault… WHAT?! She refused to send another sandwich until after I asked for a manager and she said hold on a second and then agreed to send another sandwich. Spend your money in a place where food and customer service are worth your Time and Money. NEVER AGAIN will I order from this place. The last week that I have been ordering something came out wrong but this last time my meal was totally wrong and the lady made me look as if it is MY FAULT?! During other deliveries, they forgot the dessert and would mess up our meats and yet we would be charged for everything. I really wanted to like this place unfortunately the way I have been treated pushed me away from the shop and I will never again order from it. There are definitely much much better places in Englewood who know how to treat their customers right and already told all my friends to stay away from this place.

Tomer does it again with another phenomenal spot in Englewood NJ. This cute one-​stop-​shop has anything you need if you are on the go. Coffee, fresh juices, water, etc. A refrigerator full of ready made fresh sandwiches and salads. You can also order a sandwich or a salad made to your liking. The smell of the croissants when you walk in is phenomenal.
Their poached egg sandwiches, they offer an array of options. My personal favorite is the 3 cheese poached sandwich. It is so delicious! The different tastes of the gruyère, mozzarella, brie cheeses with the eggs and the hollandaise sauce? Party in my mouth!!!
If interested in something besides eggs, Poached also offers a make your own sandwich option, where you can choose from a variety of meats, cheeses, toppings and bread. Its pretty amazing. I appreaciate Poached because not only do you have the option to eat something delicious they are also health conscience. Portions are big in size, and you never feel heavy after a meal here. You can get any sandwich on multigrain bread with avocado speed instead of mayo. They offer salads with Kale and many healthy vegetables. So, eating out doesnt always have to ruin your diet.
The freshness of the of the ingredients makes each bite even better.
I will defintely be a regular here.

The other day an employee from poached came into where I work and dropped off some samples of a variety of the different sandwiches they offer. (Thank You Poached!) I really enjoyed a few of them so I decided to order from them today for lunch with a few coworkers.
Poached offers sandwiches, salads, soups, quiches, homemade sweets like cookies and brownies. I really like that they try to add a health conscience feel to your meal, makes it a little easier to indulge knowing its with quality ingredients.
I decided on the make your own sandwich option for $ 5.75. They offer you a choice of different breads, spreads, meats, veggies and cheeses. (certain add on items cost extra) I ordered the croissant with roast beef, mozzarella cheese, mayonnaise and lettuce. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. My sandwich came with a deli pickle that was delish as well. My only issue was that the croissant was a little bit greasy but I just wrapped a napkin around it to sop up some of the extra greasy and ta-​da problem solved.
I have heard from my coworkers that their poached eggs are fabulous and make any sandwich they are added to decadent. I will definitely be having my first poached egg experience here and will return with an updated review.

One of my favorite places in Englewood to grab coffee/​breakfast before class or lunch after the gym! The first time i stopped by was during their grand opening event when they had a buy one get one free sandwich special and tried the Pastrami sandwich, and three cheese sandwich both topped w/​two poached eggs that were cooked right after I ordered. The staff was really nice & helpful in giving me recommendations. Really appreciate the freshness of the ingredients which you can really taste and the fact that none of the sandwiches are heavy or greasy. They also have soups which I have yet to try, but I have also tried the Nicoises salad, (may have spelled that French word wrong) their roasted pepper & goat cheese pumpernickel sandwich, their brownies & their orange juice which is fresh squeezed!
Another reason I really like this place is how its decorated, its very colorful & almost rustic without being too much. They have MASON JAR LIGHTS. Yup, I wanted to grab one and take it home they were so cute.
Overall a really great place to grab food on the go!

First, the smell of the croissants when you walk in is heavenly. That being said, so was my «poached.» I had the three cheese (aged Gruyère, fresh mozzarella, and brie) and added prosciutto for some meat. It was decadent but didn’t make me feel heavy at all. An elevated egg-​sandwich if you will (in taste, and price, unfortunately). I spent $ 10 so it’s pretty average for a lunch in the area but isn’t as big of a portion as you might find elsewhere.
I definitely wish they had some stools so you have to option to sit and eat right as your sandwich comes out of the oven. It’s a cute little takeout spot oh, and I loved the rustic barn décor!
