Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar

Just finished our meal at Flemings. I had not been before, but I will be back. Found the atmosphere to be great, not to loud it was easy to carry on conversation. Wait staff was very attentive and added to the experience. I had the bone in ribeye, which was GREAT. I have paid twice as much for a cut of meat of this quality. Found a nice bottle of wine for a reasonable price that paired well with everything on the table. The truck was warmed up and waiting for us when we finished. Even with the cost being a bit on the splurge side of things, I feel like it is a great value… if you are thinking about it… go for it, you will enjoy thoroughly.

Giving Flemings 4 stars was a tough one for me. Not because it was bad but it was close to a 5 star. With this being said they did nothing wrong, I just like some other steakhouses a little more.
All week been craving prime-​rib and who knew Flemings has a Sunday special for a prime-​rib dinner, so I was all in.
As soon as we sat down we were given a fresh loaf of bread with 2 different delicious butters. Both butters were great.
I started my meal with the wedge salad. It was a typical wedge salad with the add of some pine nuts. The pine nuts was a great texture for the salad.
For dinner of course I got the prime rib. Wasn’t the best ever but was pretty damn close. It came with a side of my choice and I choose the cream corn. Both awesome.
Lastly for desert I got the chocolate lava cake. Perfect gooynes.
Oh I forgot to mention, salad, prime rib, side and desert all for $ 29.99. What a great deal.
The odd feature of this location is the «mandatory» valet parking. Although nice had to scrape some dollars up to tip (not necessary but I’m not a jerk).

Our first time there a few weeks ago for our anniversary there were a few problems in the beginning regarding a reservation and wait time but the manager stepped up hundred percent and made us lifelong customers for life. The food was amazing the service was awesome will go back for a special occasions and tell everyone that this is the place to go for a wonderful meal.

Excellent steak house in the DTC area with outstanding customer service. I had the Sunday special with steak and lobster and it was way good. Highly recommend.

I usually come here for the prime rib special which they happened to have on New Years Day. What a great value. Prime rib, one salad, one side and dessert. I have never had a bad meal here.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was it took forever to bring bread out. I was forgiving because it looked as though they were extremely busy.
I will continue to come eat here.

Flemings is right up there with Cherry Cricket in terms of having reliably excellent service and food (in obviously very different settings). Tonight we were served by Jim C who gets a special shout out for not only being great at his job, but for also being friendly and entertaining all night long!
If you haven’t signed up for Fleming’s email club, do yourself a huge favor and do that. They’ll alert you to some truly awesome specials. For tonight, for example, we both ordered the seasonal pre fixe menu: beer cheese soup, filet with crab-​stuffed lobster tails, roasted squash, and pumpkin crème brûlée cheesecake for $ 55. One helluva deal considering that most of the steaks a la carte will run you right around $ 50 not including any sides, appetizers, or desserts.
I am so glad I took a well-​deserved break from my diet for a special evening with my special man to somewhat belatedly celebrate our 11^th year of living in sin.
I’ve lost 65 lbs in just under 7 months and I tend to feel instant regret when I eat something heavy that «wasn’t worth the calories». But let me tell you, no regrets tonight even if I gain a couple pounds by the morning.

The food here is delicious! As soon as we were seated we were served with bread and fancy cheese spreads. They were great, really tasty.
I didn’t get an appetiser but my husband did & I tried some, the raw tenderloin that was so thinly sliced it was like eating butter, just melted in your mouth. Everyone else split salads with their partners, one man asked for anchovies with his & that was forgotten at first, one man didn’t like the blue cheese sauce on his salad.
Everyone got a steak for their main except me and one other lady, she had the crab legs & I had the lobster tails. I tried two of the steaks, both cooked perfectly and beautiful meat. My lobster tails were DELICIOUS! The server removed the tails for me & took them away. The lady who ordered the crab legs has a broken arm so the staff happily took the plate & removed the meat from the legs for her when we asked, she ended up with quite a bit but said it was a little tough.
We got a few sides, the mushrooms were very peppery & the asparagus was nice.
We also had a few magnums of a fantastic wine that I can’t remember the name of. I also had a dark chocolate truffle martini for dessert which was amazing!
All in all its a fabulous restaurant, but you’ll certainly pay for it. Our bill was $ 200 plus tip for 1 app, 2 mains, 2 sides, 1 choc martini and ¼ of a magnum — totally worth it for a nice night out.

Started with a perfectly made Manhattan served neat and made with Knob Creek bourbon. And a salty black olive. Amazing. Might need another one to make sure it is fabulous ;) the second one was fabulous. Might need a third!
Starting with the side dish of Au Gratin potatoes. Well balanced flavors and in perfectly crisp and very hot temp wise. The layers of cheesy goodness and the potatoes are balanced superbly. Be prepared to have your tongue and palate scalded with heat but so worth the calories.
For the main entrée I was recommended the bone in ribeye served medium rare. Cooked to perfection and one of the best damn steaks I have ever had anywhere including my own! Salvador you rock!
My server for this culinary adventure was Peter who has worked here 5 years. He was very knowledgable and pleasant in suggesting the house favorites. He was an amazing server and glad he was taking care of myself this evening. Hands down one of the best servers I have been honored to serve me.
Yes it is expensive but please come here and you will not be disappointed. Bennet rocked and was very gracious as well as the other lady who stopped to make sure everything was okay!

And amazing staff, amazing food preparation and as difficult as it is for me to give a 5 star rating — simply cannot give them a 4. The staff and management understand what it takes for an enjoyable dining experience anywhere. Please if you have never stopped here — you simply MUST!
I am rarely sums founded by an entrée but this establishment blows my mind and over whelms my taste buds in delight! Sorry McGuire’s in Destin you have been replaced as the best steak I have had anywhere! How do you make a meal just as good at the end as the beginning!

We just went there for dessert but their lava cake is to die for. Good pairing with a port wine or cappucino. This place is top quality all around from service, ambience, to the food. If I could afford to eat here often, I would certainly be a regular.

This restaurant is insanely and unequivocally expensive and I’m sure the valet looove to park my rusty car, but a man’s gotta eat right? Just to preface this review, with drinks it is not uncommon for the tab to exceed 100 per person. Also, the menu is à la carte only.
The bar area is very nice and they all know how to pour a proper drink here. Bloody-​Mary, Manhattans, and so forth were all superb. They do have an extensive wine list with a custom wine storage room if you want something nice to go along with your steak.
I’ve been here quite a few times for dinner and not once been disappointed. French onion soup, salads, prime rib, and stuffed baked potato with asparagus was all phenomenal. Had the cheesecake, which I’m a sucker for, with chopped strawberries instead of their usual sauce and it was the best I’ve had in Denver so far.
Invited my friends to join me on a holiday to go there and we all enjoyed ourselves. One of them is quite picky about the flavors of food and she also enjoyed everything she had. We ordered the seafood platter as an appetiser for the table which was nice to have with our initial drinks. We each had one of their various prime rib steaks and we center plated an assortment of side dishes and bread. They had the lava cake, which you have to order at the beginning as it takes over 30 minutes to make, and I had a slice of cheesecake with strawberries, of course.
Don’t get me wrong, the food and drinks are not worth 100 per person. However, this place does offer more for that cost. It is a special occasion place for most people and I think you’ll walk out with a good experience for you and your friends. If you’re going solo, the bar and staff will make you feel welcome as well.

Very delicious meal in a classy, refined environment! Our waiter, Nicholas, was fantastic and even indulged us in a picture. Highly recommend the burrata appetizer!!! Elegant, substantial and fantastically tasty!

Outstanding service but pricey and disappointing food. Like most steak restaurants, atmosphere is dark and clientele is mostly men. This review is for a dinner about a month ago.
Our party of 4 got the seasonal special which was a 3-​course meal for $ 44.95.
Complimentary bread with gorgonzola and pimento cheese spread … salty.
Summer salad — «apple, arugula, and farmer’s cheese with honey and chili-​lime dressing» … pretty good.
Filet Mignon & Sea Scallops — «filet mignon with sweet red pepper rub and mole sauce, pan-​seared scallops with mango relish, served with roasted brussels sprouts»… ordered medium but steak arrived well-​done, dry, … no flavor except for salt. At least the scallops were good. Still, the most disappointing part of the meal. I wanted a good steak.
Belize Fry Jacks — «crispy pastry dusted with powdered sugar, dulce de leche sauce.» If you like beignets or fried anything, you’ll like these. Me, not so much.
I’m from out of town anyway but I don’t think I’ll return either.
FYI don’t valet unless you really like to valet. There are available spaces in the back of the restaurant.

It isn’t cheap, but the food, wine, and service is pretty much as good as it gets for a steakhouse. Bread– fantastic. Wine list– amazing for Colorado. Bone in Ribeye– ⁹⁄₁₀. Mac n Cheese, seafood tower, potatoes, asparagus– all excellent.
I would definitely recommend this flemings location for a work/​business dinner.

I gotta tell you, when i read negative reviews — I think those folks were looking for something to complain about.
My wife and i chose to venture out, upscale, without kids — and without a reservation — Flemings fit the bill — seated us immediately — and the waiter immediately took care of us. (first thing, he had a black napkin for my wife’s black dress instead of a white napkin)
Bottom line, we felt catered-​to the entire evening — and the food was AWESOME. My filet was perfect, my wife’s seafood was ample in size, and perfectly cooked. Our wine was terrific — our salads were tasty — our chilled forks were chilly!
Everyone and everything was great — and I highly recommend for any occasion — be it special or not.

Such a delicious happy hour! Their happy hour is 5 for $ 6 ’til 7. It features 5 cocktails, 5 wines, and 5 appetizers for $ 6. They also serve a burger with fries for $ 7 and have a rotating seasonal beer at a discount.
Our first time in, we had to order a variety of course. The beef carpaccio is amazing! It almost tastes like a tartare and it is a STEAL for $ 6. You must get this. You must.
We also split the burger which is a heckuva great deal too. The fries are super garlicky. Hubs raved about the bun and said it made the burger. Delish!
The pork belly is also really good. It’s a healthy portion that comes with grits and a berry/​rosemary compote. You think it will be sweet but it isn’t at all and I really enjoy the composed bites of all 3 flavors.
Lastly, we had the house salad (not on happy hour) because I need my greens. It was a good salad– not sure if it’s worth $ 10.
The wine choices are so-​so. I only drink red and the Rioja is the best out of the bunch. The server indicated they might be switching up the selections soon.
Hubs had the whiskey sour and very much enjoyed it.
We will definitely be back to partake in this awesome happy hour. Even happier, they run a SECOND happy hour starting at 8:00 called 8 for $ 9 ’til 10:00. It has some of the same selections as well as new ones like the ahi tacos. We are going to try and hit up that deal at some point too.

I love steak, I just can’t help it. So, naturally I came here for my birthday and it was divine. It is hard to impress a table of 3 meat eating men and I. I ordered the Buffalo, medium rare and it was juicy with just the right amount of seasoning. The buffalo melted in your mouth with a subtle sweet taste to the meat. Buffalo has been one of my favorites to order and it was absolutely delicious. We had the asparagus and truffled mashed potatoes as our sides. They both accompanied our meal very well.
It is a more romantic ambiance, and the service was great. The waiter was very attentive and was helpful in choosing our steaks. I will be back as soon as possible to get my steak fix on.

Oenophiles… you know you love the expansive wine list here, but I think one of the best kept secrets at Fleming’s is the expansive small plates menu.
If you are more of a grazer… like me… you will LOVE that you can choose a couple of items from the small plates menu versus throwing in all of your tokens for one huge piece of protein (it costs the same for two small plates as one entrée). Small plates = lamb chops, scallops, sliced filet, seared ahi… so much more! Why buy the cow when you can nosh on the cow and the scallop? (Wow — how thought-​provoking! I am such a goof! :)
Our server deserves special mention: Alex (a female Alex!), is impeccable. Excellent, professional service with a genuine sense that she enjoys doting on her guests. From consulting on wine to crumbing the table, she handles all with ease and finesse.
Fleming’s satisfies that power steakhouse craving with such beautiful élan, no wonder why it is packed each and every time I dine here!

This is a pretty good large chain steak house way down in the middle of nowhere, Inverness.
White table cloths, wood panelling, dark and intimate, this is probably a good date spot if you are down that direction.
They have a great Prime Rib special on Sunday nights, and it was pretty good– I ordered the end cut because I like my prime rib well done, but this was too far gone. My bad, not Flemings! Delicious Caesar salad, and I love a spot that offers berries for dessert!
My friends had the prime rib medium-​rare and the giant pork chop. We were happy.
Weird deal with Valet– About half the parking lot is valet. If you are a normal person and can walk a few steps to the front door, Valet really isn’t necessary, Yet, half the lot is empty — saved for valet, and you have to go park back by the garbage in the dark. strange. They really want to valet your car 10 feet.

This is now my favorite, most visited steakhouse chain. I am sooo happy there is one here in Denver, after visiting one while on the East coast. They have occasional specials where you can get a 3 course prime rib meal for a nice price, as well as the very cool happy hour specials. You can sign up t get notified of these specials via email.
I took my mom here and she enjoyed it quite a bit (well I took her but she paid, so I think I enjoyed it more than her :)). Going here is always a special treat for me. But be sure to make a reservation so you can avoid the feeling of incompetence if you don have one.

Fleming’s has been around for a while, but it seems to be popping up in more locations recently. Fleming’s launched a location in LA LIVE and even a Beverly Hills location (near Rodeo Drive) opened about a year ago. I have been seeing Fleming’s locations in other parts of the country like this one in a suburb of Denver.
This Fleming’s, which was doing very good business for a weekday night, features the standard Fleming’s décor, which is dark but also a little brighter than most upscale steakhouse chains like Mastro’s and Morton’s. The menu at Fleming’s is the same wherever you go. This Fleming’s features the same kinds of cuts you will find at most upscale steakhouse chains. Their sides are mostly standard steakhouse fare like grilled asparagus, creamed spinach and baked potatoes. Their small plates and appetizers get a little more creative and go beyond the standard steakhouse selections like shrimp cocktail.
I had the dry-​aged New York Strip (non-​dry-​aged steaks are also available). Dry aging can sacrifice the steak’s juiciness and knowing that (coupled with Fleming’s being a serviceable but not great steakhouse), I probably should have went with the dry-​aged ribeye, which would have had more marbling. The New York Strip was nicely seared and had a good char. It had a good flavor too without being overly salty, but it was not served medium rare (despite the thick cut). It was cooked medium and maybe even a little more that though it was still fairly juicy and tender.
For sides, I had the Fleming’s potatoes (with is potatoes au gratin mixed with cream, jalapenos and cheddar cheese), which is more interesting than your common steakhouse side. The potatoes had a nice lasagna-​esque cheese crust (nicely blistered cheese) and the potatoes were tender. The side was not dry either. Unfortunately, I wish the potatoes had more flavor – more heat from the jalapenos and more of a salty cheese note.
The grilled asparagus was good – nicely cooked and not too salty.
For dessert, I had their signature chocolate lava cake, which takes quite a bit of time to come out (though the staff appropriately notifies guests before ordering and even takes requests for this dessert as entrees are being enjoyed). The chocolate lava cake was garnished with vanilla ice cream, a butter tuile, chopped pistachios, and whipped cream. It was a large dessert – a big chocolate cake with two scoops of ice cream. The chocolate lava cake did not separate itself from other chocolate lava cakes out there. The outside crust was a tad dry and the molten lava center of Morton’s lava cake delivers a richer and more bittersweet chocolate flavor. Still, it was a satisfying dessert with a classic mix of chocolate and vanilla as well as hot and cold.
Service was very friendly and attentive. The food came out at a good pace.
Prices are high and a little overpriced given the quality. Fleming’s might be less expensive than Mastro’s, but it is still in the same price range even though Mastro’s is significantly better (at least when it comes to the quality of the steaks).
Fleming’s is an okay option for a big Prime steak in this neighborhood outside of Denver. It does not appear that there are many local options in the immediate area so maybe this Fleming’s would do for an upscale dinner. I think it is pricey for what it is and that you would be much better off making the trek to Denver for a more interesting (and probably not significantly more expensive) dinner.
Complimentary valet parking is offered. I think you are also allowed to park yourself for free in the big lot attached to this Fleming’s.
