History
Established in 2009.
Expedition began with the dream of young boy. What Expedition Backcountry Adventures is today can be attributed to a long list of innovators, creatives, entrepreneurs, friends, family, and mentors. For us, Expedition sits at the intersection of our passions and skill sets. The fruit of this collision is our calling. We care deeply about our staff, our clients, and our city. In fact, we care so much not just about our city but about all urban contexts that we take their leaders up into the mountains to experience renewal so that they can re-engage more effectively when they return.
We believe in what could be. We have great hope for the future of our world. We operate under the conviction that each person has been uniquely wired to experience the fullness of what they were created for. He is passionate about helping clients discover how they can more effectively leverage their talents, experiences, and resources to make the world a better place. At Expedition, Matt has the opportunity to design transformational wilderness experiences that send participants back into their spheres of influence with a renewed sense of purpose and calling. It’s a dream job for him.
