We have had the service for less than a month. They mislead me into thinking that my data would be adequate for my needs, Ha. Once you use your data limit the speeds slows down so much the connection drops. They would not let me drop my service without paying the early termination fee. They are the worse internet service that I have had ever used, do not use them!!!

Hey! Do youI have very low stardards for your internet access!?! Do you routinely use the internet for little more than emails?! And are you caught in a life situation where you have no other options?! Do you have no trouble getting hit up for overages or super-slow service towards the end of the month?! If you answered yes to these questions, than this might be the internet provider for you. Oh, and once you’re in, there’s no getting out. Exede /Wildblue has a hotline to collections and they’re more than happy drop a monkeywrench into your homebuying future over an outdated modem and a transceiver that even their own workmen call a worthless piece of metal. Three months after I ‘thought’ I discontinued service(and moved), I saw their friendly address popping up on my credit card bill for monthly payments of $ 80 for 10GB of data. It was so nice. I hadn’t talked to or heard from them for months and I was starting to miss the slow, unsteady stream of data dribbling into my house. «No problem!», They said., «We still had your credit card number. So we thought we’d just keep the payments coming in from you — okay?» That’s so nice. I cancelled again. Another three months later and I get a sweet Christmas note that I was being sent to collections for unreturned materials! ‘Oh joy!’ I said. In return, I sent them a sweet note back and paid another $ 300+ Because … well, I guess they needed the money. I gave ‘em ONEBIGSTAR to put on top of their Christmas tree! Thanks EXEDE! Love Ya! Exede satellite internet is the worst ever. First of all, they advertise up to 12 megabytes per second speed, but they deliver at best 1. We never got more than 1 megabyte per second the whole time we were with them, regardless of time of day. Also, there seemed to be no rhyme or reason as to how they would track our data useage. Some months we would barely use any and we would run out after 2 weeks. I don’t trust their system at all, but there was no way to double check. The icing on the cake was when we finally had a REAL high speed internet provider available and switched over we cancelled our account ONEDAY into our billing cycle. Because we were one day past, they refused to reimburse us for an entire month of unused service. These guys provide a horrible service and have horrible customer service. Never, ever use them. Use anyone else you can find. Most satellite internet is not great, but these guys are the bottom of the barrel.
