Established in 1963.

Melody music was established in 1963 with the vision to provide musical products and services that fit your specific needs with exceptional customer service. We have continued this legacy under the direction of Gordon Close who is still actively involved with the store.

Elite Sound was established to provide exceptional design, installation, and integration solutions to commercial customers looking for sound, video, and lighting systems for their facility. We service churches, schools, theaters, event centers, retailers, and any other client needing audio, video, and lighting solutions.

Business Owner

Gordon has owned Melody Music for over 49 years. He brings a vast knowledge of the industry to all our customers and can solve anyone’s challenges and needs in the industry. Since originally opening in Denver, he has collected a wide verity of vintage instruments, amplifiers, and audio equipment over the years which are all on display in the store.

Gordon also owns his own guitar line which he proudly sells in the store. Many people will travel far and wide to consult Gordon’s incredible knowledge knowing they’ll be in good hands.
