Eco Carpet Cleaning

Now I see why they only got 2 stars. After we got our groupon deal, we booked our appointment and specified to them that we needed the carpets cleaned before we move into the house. Well, the morning of our appointment which was booked 2 weeks in advance, they called us to make sure we were there for our 8 am appointment. Yes, we were there, but no carpet cleaning person showed up. The company called us and said the guy never showed up so they had to reschedule us for next week… the week after we are supposed to finished moving in. So needless to say, I am not a happy camper. On top of that, yes, they do go by the sq. ft. of the house instead of the sq. ft. of the carpeted areas. Another dumb thing and so we will not be getting our basement cleaned because of that. They are also a very small carpet cleaning company who I personally think is way over their heads because they have sold over thousands of Groupon and Living Social deals. Just my opnion, but thought I’d share. I would never recommend this company to anyone.

This is my third time using this company with a Groupon for carpet cleaning with the 360 deep clean. The carpet has always turned out amazingly clean and I have been well pleased. The carpet does remain wet for the day, so we have it done first thing in the morning and then leave for the rest of the day to have some fun. When we return in the evening, we put our house back together and enjoy it. Please note that if your house square footage is over 2500, you will pay extra! Ours is only 2000 sf so it has been perfect for us. Technicians have been polite and friendly.

Originally bought the Groupon for whole house cleaning… paid for a 360 deep clean and then paid 2x as much for the high traffic clean and deodorizer because of pets… techs did show up on time, but spots still remain visible — even areas that were just high traffic or dirty… In addition their equipment left mud on my walls and baseboards. Would definitely not hire them again or recommend them to anyone else.

I am so frustrated with the company and the way I was just treated. I have 1200 sq.ft. of carpet in my house on the second floor. The entire footage of the house if 3500 sq. ft. but again, all hardwood on the 1^st floor.
So I saw that they had a deal, and I quote this verbatim, Entire House Carpet Cleaning for $ 159 (up to 2500 square feet) No add ons No room limits. I double checked that they did stairs, which they did, so yay — I purchased the deal.
When I went to book it, they must zillow your address they told me that my house was 3500 sq.ft. so I would have to pay another $ 100. I cheerfully explained to them that it wouldn’t be necessary because the main floor didn’t have carpet so it didn’t need to be cleaned. Which immediately the woman I was talking to became defensive and said, «NO — it is based on house square footage and not the amount of carpet.» Huh? Why would house square footage matter? You are only cleaning 1200 sq.ft. The conversation devolved quickly from the point and ended with her refusing to give me a manager’s name, phone number and stated that they didn’t have a voicemail to leave them a message.
Am I in the twilight zone? In what world does it make sense to charge for space that doesn’t need to be cleaned. We are no different than an apartment on the second floor of a building that needs carpet cleaned, why should we be penalized for owning the space below us.
I am so disappointing, I’m sure their product is good, but I refuse to pay more based on such an inane reason.

Terrible service. I scheduled twice and the first time they cancelled a couple of hours before my appointment time, but only after I called THEM to confirm. Rescheduled and this time they were 1 ½ hours late! They never did show, just called that late to say they were on their way. I said, «I don’t think so». I am going to try to get a refund from Groupon. Do not use this company if you value your sanity.

Robert showed up a couple minutes early. He was very nice and did a thorough job. We did the 360 cleaning with Oder neutralizer and scotch guard and carpets appear to be very clean and the house smells clean. They are drying as I write this. We will be using them again.

I didn’t read any reviews before scheduling with eco carpet cleaners, and I’m glad I didn’t because normally I follow if everyone has had a negative experience.
I have lived in an apartment for over a year and a half and after a painful break up decided it was time to out with the old and in with the new so to speak. So I started painting walls which lead to the discovery of the nightmare hiding behind my air vents.
I looked on Craigslist for vent cleaning and called them the same day. The lady on the phone was really nice and explained what would happen. I booked right away and was told my technician would be here between 1 – 3 on Friday (I asked for a Friday or Saturday)
Robert was right on time and did a great job. He arrived at 2 and finished up quickly I looked at the vents and they are clean and look amazing.
In very happy with the service. I am also happy with the $ 79 charge for all of the vents. There was no pressure to sell me any extra services, Robert did inform me that if I wanted him to so an advanced service it would be extra. I said no thanks and that was all :)
I am happier knowing that the allergens of over 20 years have been sucked away and that now my air purifiers aren’t fighting a loosing battle.
I will gladly hire them again :)

I moved to a completely renovated house, and the people that put in the hardwood floors had basically swept all the debris into the vents. My landlord found this place on Craigslist after I complained about poor airflow. The only reason this wasn’t a five star review is because it took a couple of messages to get a phone call back regarding scheduling, but I understand that can happen if they’re busy. The guy that came to clean the vents called when he was running late, and apologized for the inconvenience. Again, I understand the timeframes given are subject to change, because you can’t predict how long any given job is going to take. When he got here, he was very nice and knowledgeable and suggested some things to maybe keep in mind down the road. He did a thorough job with what my landlord permitted him to do and was just pleasant to have in my home.

I scheduled two weeks in advance for a carpet cleaning with Eco on a Friday. After moving all my furniture and vacuuming every room I waited for an hour and a half. Finally a tech responded to my phone calls. He said he could «probably» get here within the hour. He clearly had spaced the appointment and I had dinner plans. I asked to have the manager call me to reschedule. Angela’s voice message the following Tuesday said,” I’m calling to reschedule since you couldn’t accommodate a later time frame.” I NEVER do business with companies that blame the customer for their screw ups. This crew is unprofessional with very ugly attitudes.

TERRIBLE experience but sounds like that is what they are best at, providing terrible service. I also bought the Groupon deal. I scheduled the appointment 2 ½ weeks out. 30 minutes before they were scheduled to arrive they called to tell me they were running a half hour late… two hours later, no call, no show. Long story short, 4 hours later I was still trying to get answers as to where they were, if they were coming. Meanwhile it started raining outside on our furniture.
Angela was very rude. She doesn’t know how to communicate. I can’t believe this place is even in business. When I told her I would be sure to write a review online she told me I better be careful what I say. WHAT?! All I have to do is tell the truth.
Thankfully Groupon is always a pleasure to deal with and refunded our money. But we were left with dirty carpet and had to move our furniture back inside, disappointing, we were really look forward to having them cleaned.

I don’t review– unless I had outstanding or TERRIBLE service. Terrible in this case, how they are in business is beyond me. Same as EVERYONE else, took a long time to get in touch with them. Once I did schedule they called day of and said machines were broken. Reschedule for Friday– this time they just didn’t call or show up. I had to call and leave another message asking where they were. Not sure why it’s so hard to make an appointment, come to the house and aerate, and the job is done??? Your machine cannot break this often, and if it does invest in a new one. I’m getting a refund through weekly plus bc I don’t have time, nor should I be expected, to play games with a company I am paying. 100% of the reviews can’t be wrong– don’t make the same mistake as I did.

Terrible company to do business with. They canceled and rescheduled 3 times, last minute. The company was supposed to aerate, fertilize and over seed my lawn, they only aerated, and they were already prepaid through an online deal. When I called for the 6^th time, they said that «in their system it is noted that all services were provided». I assured her that was not the case and the person who answered the phone became extremely rude.

Wow. I just read the other reviews. I fortunately had a different experience. Basically, I bought a Groupon because of the price. We have a 20 year old carpet that needs replacing, not cleaning, so I merely was hoping to get out some dirt. For that price, I wasn’t expecting them to get out heavy stains or ones that were 10 years old; just make the carpet cleaner. I also wasn’t expecting them to move any furniture/​boxes and told them to clean what they could see.
Mission accomplished.
The carpet was pretty wet after the job – took a half day to dry completely. But I can say that once the carpet dried, it was one shade brighter than it had been. Looked like a totally different carpet. Basically, if you come in with the previously mentioned expectations and don’t want to spend a lot of money on carpet cleaning, it might work.

Angela — thanks for refusing to give the service you agreed upon. Every statement I made in my review was 100% accurate. I have been trying to schedule a lawn aeration with you folks since early September. I have received 3 dates where the service would be performed… and never received ONE phone call when it was not. Every time they did not show up — it was ME that called to check what was going on. That is not my fault. When I voiced my frustrations the only way I know how — you come back refusing service. That is no way to run a business.

All the other reviews are my exact experience with this company– cancelled an hour before my scheduled appt (which was about a month out from the time I called) and now will not return my calls to reschedule, even though they said they would call me back. It was a Groupon, and I have submitted for a refund. What a joke! Terrible customer service!

I bought their carpet cleaning service through Groupon. Had the worst experience ever. Angela rescheduled the appointment three times. She cancels appointment within half hour of the appointment time. She makes up stories about her «technician been hurt» and blames the rest of the time on «weather condition» and not risking her «technicians life» on days when ALL schools are open for regular hours. Anyone who does business in Denver knows what a «bad weather» is and how to avoid it well in advance.
I know she’ll lie more with her response to this post as, I now see, she has done with other posts here at Unilocal,but I am relieved that her «technicians» did NOT come to «risking their life» at my house!
It is apparent, she is able to do this for years because she can hide behind Groupon’s prepaid model. I am reconsidering buying anything from Groupon in future.
What a crappy business!

I’m only giving them 2 stars because they allowed me to schedule an appt. for after the Groupon expired (I called before it expired buy they didn’t have any openings). Well, they called to confirm the appt the day before (sounding non too confident in their «confirmation») and then promptly called first thing that morning to cancel! Said their van was broken and they would try and get it fixed. Sounds to me like they knew this the night before… I never ever heard back from them and simply requested a refund from Groupon.
I also had a VERY hard time getting a hold of them to schedule the appt in the first place. Left several messages before receiving a call back, two weeks later! This is probably what delayed me getting an appt prior to the expiration! Huh, I should change it to ONE star!

What an awful company to deal with. I purchased a groupon for the Denver area to use and made an appointment for carpet cleaning. The day prior, the interior painters were not finished painting in our house and I called to see if I could reschedule. I was told the next available appt. was for 1.5 weeks, but that they would call me back by the following day to see if they could fit me into the schedule as it looked like they may have a couple of openings.
I never heard back. 3 days later I left a message. No response. 2 days after that (5 days total), I spoke to Amanda who said nothing was available for almost a month. I explained I was supposed to have an appointment for the following week and that someone was to call me back about an earlier time but nobody did. Amanda said I must have spoken to the owner. She called the owner and called me back to say «the owners said you were supposed to call her back but never did». This was not true at all. I was then told there was nothing that could be done. I explained the urgency of having them done within the next week and it made no difference.
I then said I would leave negative feedback, which I very rarely do and was told «ok, well sorry, we can’t help you». That was it! I was given a refund back from Groupon and good riddance to this company.

Beware. I also purchased their Groupon for lawn aeration, seeding and fertilization. They won’t schedule a set appointment — they just come sometime that day and they pick the day. Someone was home at our house when they came and saw them do the job — they told me they have never seen someone care so little about the quality of the work they do! They said they practically ran through the lawn and it looked like they missed spots. It sounds like they use very natural fertilizer, but the work was shoddy and the customer service was not friendly.

I bought a Groupon for a whole house carpet cleaning. Scheduling the appt was fine until the day before someone called and asked if they could change our appt from 8:00 to 9:00 and I said that would be fine and asked if it would it be any later than 9:00 and she said «No, he just needs to go to another clients home that was not happy before they go out of town.» Then he showed up at 10:12! When I said «Ummmm, do you know you’re an hour late?» He said «Oh really? she told me I could come anytime after 9:00. Do you still want your carpets cleaned?» I told him yes if he could do it in an hour because I had an appt to go to. He said he could do that.
I will say that the carpets are cleaned BUT it is now 24 hours later and they are not completely dry! I have had carpets cleaned by many companies and NEVER has it taken over 24 hrs to dry. I was also shocked that he did not move any furniture or drapes (which were hanging on the soaking wet carpets). I bought the Groupon to give this company a chance to get my business-​that will not be happening.
