I’ve visited numerous DD stores all over the States, and this is the worst one. DD advertises and encourages customers to join the DD Perks membership and use their mobile app, but be careful redeeming your free drink reward or paying with your mobile app in this store. They scanned the card on my phone, and said there’s no money on it, I showed her the dollar amount on my phone, she scanned again, still didn’t work, so I have to pay with cash. Then the next day I noticed money missing from my account, when I checked History, it showed that she charged me twice when she told me it didn’t work. Then I had a 200 points free drink reward yesterday, so I went in to claim my free drink. Another girl scanned the reward code and told me it’s been used. I told her it just showed up on my phone. It wouldn’t still be on my phone if it’s been used. She just said but it doesn’t work, I need to pay. I’ve had enough of this store. So I just left. Guess what? When I opened my app again, my reward coupon is gone. This store has scanners that zap your money and coupons. I just don’t think this is right. So I called the manager today. He is no help either. He gave me a 800 number to call. Really? It’s not the app. Other stores don’t overcharge me. They have cheaters or very incompetent people who don’t know how to use the scanners. I am done with this store. Went to the Venice DD store today. The girl and her scanner can read the app on my phone and charged me the correct amount. Amazing! I may have to drive a little farther, but I’ll never go to the Englewood store again.

If you are coming just for coffee expect excellent service. Seems every morning the same group of locals come here and order up. We ordered our teas, muffins and coffee, too, and it came up within seconds. Meanwhile, waiting 15 minutes(two days in a row) for a bacon, chicken ranch sandwich is embarrassing for a chain build on rapid service. And, we aren’t exaggerating. It took 15 minutes, on Monday and Tuesday. We were late to our fishing charter two days in a row. The sandwich(for a fast-food style) is actually pretty good, well it was the first day when they ran out of their normal sandwich buns and put it on a bagel for us. Their regular bun isn’t very good. If you can request it to come out on a bagel, do it. For a chain this sandwich is damn good! I’d use caution ordering sandwiches at all he, however. Been to 100s of DD’s in the Northeast and never endured a wait like this. Everything else though seems to be up to date.

This is your typical dunkin donuts located just to the west of San casa. I’m not sure why it is here but the bagels are smaller here compared to other locations. Maybe I just have bad luck or timing? The dunkin coffee is always solid. Get here early it’s often busy after 7am.
